    Regeneration is what makes all hybrids worth it. Making electricity instead of heat when slowing down or going downhill increases efficiency and makes up for all the extra weight and then some.

    This may getting off-topic, but the Lincoln equivalent of the Explorer is supposed to be PHEV in the states. Lincoln isn't sold in Europe so that's why it will be marketed there as a Ford.

    Looks great! Could you measure for me how much the tread on the tires stick out from underneath the flares? Where I live it isn't allowed for them to stick out at all, so I'm trying to figure out what my options are in terms of tires and wheel offset.
