Well for thoes of us that already have a d44 trused with chromoly axle shafts and gears. The week point is the gears on the pinon not the axle shaft. If anything some times i have seen chromoly shafts braking on the diff side. When you go to a 4.88 or 5.13 the pinion gear gets really small...
I am installing a redneck ram on my jeep and I am having trouble with the tie rod clamp clearing the diff cover when turning to the left. I have a metalcloak tie rod and a Dana diff cover. I was thinking maybe a diff cover that may not stick out so far or maybe a different tie rod? Idk

Thinking about the new metalcloak 4.5in long arm. I already have the metalcloak short arm. Any thoughts about the new long arm? https://metalcloak.com/jl-wrangler-4-5-game-changer-long-arm-four-link-system.html

Is there anything like a soft top that has a low profile? I have a hard top now. But my jeep is on 40s with 5ins of lift. I have maybe 2 to 2.5ins lf clearance. I know the factory soft top looks taller then the hard top. Is there another soft top that a lower profile?
