Jeep has 70000 miles and is a daily driver. one owner.
Bought it new and daily drove it until now but need something bigger and more comfortable.
Has an extended factory powertrain warranty that expires in 2026...
They are basically the same weight. I would rather sacrifice some off-road durability and get something that’s a little quieter on the road. But also want something that will survive when taking off-road.
Okay that makes sense. Are the sidewalks on the SL that weak? I do around 350 miles on the highway weekly but also do some off-roading. Currently I have the STT PROS and although great at off-roading, they are way too loud. The other option that I am looking at is the terra grappler but E rated...
Might be a silly question but what is the difference between these two sizes? Is there a reason that the E rated one has a deeper thread? I’m looking into buying one of them but I’m a bit confused on the sizing
Not concerned with what it looks like. Want a job well done that won’t leave sealant parts inside the engine. If it wasn't under warranty I wouldn’t be taking to the dealer. If some parts get loose, it can be very bad long term for the engine. Just do some research about it and you will see.
So I had a leak at the upper oil pan. It was still under warranty so I took to the dealer and they fixed it. The only problem is that they used way too much rtv. I asked them about it and they said that there is a “lip” so the rtv only goes out and can’t come inside the engine. Would that be normal?
