  1. Experience with 39” BFGoodrich KM3’s Mud Terrain Tires

    Nice. Chris is good people.
  2. 37 and 20's or 37 and 18's

And it's a bloody, horrible death! Slap those 20s on! Just kidding, for daily comfort and off road capability, go 17".
  3. Looking for a trustworthy “Jeep” store in the DFW area.

Trendsetters offroad or Collin County Offroad are my choices.
  4. Anyone running Hutchinson Rock Monster rims with 38's

The Patagonia website shows a 10" wheel for the 38x13.50-17. That doesn't mean it can't be done but you're likely to experience more crowning of the tire and have to run a much lower pressure to get a full contact patch on the road. I just mounted a set of 38s on 17x9 wheels and at 17/15 f/r...
  5. Anyone running old school lights?

These certainly are much better than light bars IMO.
  6. Anyone running the Milestar Patagonia M/T tire?

Yes, road pressure. I agree. Posted that up a few posts ago. Well half of it at least. Nice. "Poor man's" beadlocks. Post pics when you get them mounted.
  7. Anyone running the Milestar Patagonia M/T tire?

You're not taking into account the tire compression. That's why measuring off the crown is inaccurate to true tire height. No biggie, you measure your way, I'll measure mine. We're adults and can agree to disagree. Cheers! Finally caught up after reading all 23 pages. At least now I see...
  8. Anyone running the Milestar Patagonia M/T tire?

17/15 f/r PSI and still not a full contact patch. Wierd, I've never had tire's do this. 13.5" wide tire on a 9" wide wheel.
  9. Anyone running the Milestar Patagonia M/T tire?

Youre measuring off the crown. That's not an accurate measurement. You need to measure off the lowest POC. Looks to be about 38 & 3/8" for that "40". You are not considering the compression. The most accurate way to measure actual diameter is to go 1/2 at the hub and multiply x2. You're...
  10. Anyone running the Milestar Patagonia M/T tire?

My 38x13.50-17 Patagonia MTs on a 17x9 wheel on a relatively modded (read heavy) JKU measure true at 36" tall.
  11. What happened to locking hubs?

Factory locking hubs were last used on Jeeps in the CJ, well before flip phones.
  12. Seeking ceramic window tint service in North DFW

North of Frisco, huh? Prosper here. There's a guy on many of the DFW FB Jeep pages, Scott Solar. I've used him in the past, not sure if he does the ceramic stuff though. Good guy, does great work. When I used him he was working out of a shot in Arlington.
