I'm on my second set of tires now first two were "Roached" like you described, got the new steering box and alignment done, now I'm afraid to buy another set of tires and ruin them again any recommendations before I get the new set?
From what Ive read you just have to complain about loose steering, I have over 1" of play in the steering if not more, constantly wonders even after alignment.
I have a 2019 and the problem has been there since day one, alignment is never right and my tires are wearing out uneven to the point when slowing down I feel a physical vibration, at first I thought it was my tires, but after replacing the tires with a new set and alignment I started to have...
I think I'm going to let them look at it and if Jeep flips the bill I'll let them do it, otherwise I'll do it myself. Thanks for everyones answer very helpful.
Thank you for the reply, I think I have the tools needed and aptitude to do the install however I'm going to try and see if the dealer will help since it is a known issue, I put in a call to Jeep Care and they gave me a reference number, hopefully they will cover some of the cost.
I unfortunately missed the window of having my steering box replaced under warranty, I now have over 50k miles on my JLUR, but I've had the steering issue that many have complained about so I decided to order the new steering box from Mopar. My questions is how difficult is the install for...
after about 10k my tires are worn unevenly which has created a noticeable vibration when slowing down. I would always rotate tires with every oil change at the dealer, I wouldn't buy them again.
Exact same thing happened to me, and I lost the panel I couldn't find it after. Took it to the dealer, this is known issue with the soft top on Jeeps, at first they tried to tell me I installed it incorrectly so I called Jeep Wave customer service and they took care of it for me. Dealer wanted...
Well I’m assuming if you can afford a 50k vehicle then you can afford a solar array which range in price from 10k on up. Plus you get 30% back in tax credit. Even if I paid the full price you would make your money back in 5/7 years. Solar panels have come down on price significantly, under $1/watt.
Actually it does not, for example I can produce all the electricity I need from my solar array on my home not thin air but from the sun, no fossil fuel involved. You don't have to like the idea of this powertrain but trying to bash it makes no sense.
