38 Inch Ridge Grapplers on a Terra Flex Alpha HD carrier. 392XR (I think all XR's) have the Mopar relocation brackets as well. No issues with it on road or off. It does take up quite a bit of the "view" in the rear view mirror.
We put a set of KO2 37's on with no modifications and never experienced any rub on our 22 XR. The KO2's and KM3's tend to run a bit smaller than other 37's. So, no mods necessary from my experience. You'll need to modify your speedometer for the taller tire - but you should either get a Tazer...
I'd suggest sticking with the BFG KO2's. If you want a little more aggressive look but at the expense of noise - KM3's. Doesn't sound like you really need a mud-terrain though. KO2's are light, compliant and fairly capable in trail scenarios. Great mix which sounds close to your needs. I...
Not sure if I'm actually supposed to answer anymore. :)
Significant interference with the factory rear bumper, it's not even close. Top brake light sits a bit low but wasn't a big deal. You'd most likely want to fabricate something to raise up a bit to make it more visible which would be...
No - The 38 RG's will not fit on the XR mopar tailgate carrier. A 37" KO2 or KM3 on factory XR Wheels will fit but the 38 on factory XR wheels will not.
I simply used the Teraflex Alpha HD Adjustable mounting kit on the highest setting and it provided plenty of room for the RG's. Could...
Complete takeout suspension from my 2023 Rubicon 392XR. Includes front and rear springs, track bars, shocks, front steering stabilizer and bracket, spring perches, sway bar end links, rear bump stop pad, and rear spare tire carrier (not the relocation kit brackets though). Took everything off...
Running 38 12.5 Ridge Grapplers on stock XR wheels (non beadlock config). A little different situation as it's a 392 with 3.5 inch rock krawler springs and end links, Clayton arms (overland plus) and track bars, fox shocks and ATS stabilizer, metal cloak bumps. Coming from 37 BFG's (one set of...
My pleasure. For what it's worth, both performed really well on some light to moderately difficult rock climbing in 4L with lockers.... The XR did WAY better in deep mud, but more a factor of the KM3's vs KO2's...
We have both a 392XR (2022) and a standard 392 (2021). Both with 37's and same lift. I have not felt a need to regear either Jeep at all with the 37's. Running KM3's on the XR and KO2's on the other. You can tell the XR is a bit quicker but the different is not dramatic.
Put on 37's and enjoy!
Warn winch plate on both our 392s - one with a Zeon Platinum 10S and the other with Zeon Platinum 12S. VERY tight fit as others have mentioned... only real modification I had to make was to the front skid plate bolt holes - because the plate moves the front bumper out about 3/8 inch, I had to...
Here's our JLUR392 with 37" KO2s (12.5) - 17x9 inch wheels with a +18 offset. I prefer the tire to be tucked in closer to the vehicle personally and this combo works well for us. 2.5 inches of additional lift on it as well.
Some fun rides in here. Here's a few more - Gotta get the 392 in there first...
My favorite all around car - BMW M5...
Wife's clunker - X7 M50i
I really like the ones that float (Mastercraft X26 pulled by our 1-ton Denali diesel)
and one more because it's winter and I miss the warm...
Looking great! I believe we are moving to set of 392XR wheels over the winter (part not yet orderable) but should be same specs as your Mopar beadlocks. Did you need to run a wheel spacer at all?
Here's our work in process... 2.5 lift, zeon platinum synth, 37's, rock slider steps (not...
I will say that our 392 was less capable than our 3.6 JLUR in mud, deep water and climbing. And it's all because of the weight.
However, I wouldn't trade my 392 and go back.
Depending on your wheel offset - investigate crown automotive part number 55395993AB. If you have a wider-stance (negative offset or low positive offset) wheel, these will be too short. Also depends on how much your relocation kit pushes the spare out.
Might be able to modify the Daystar...
