This just makes me realize my wife will leave me if they ever come out with a Golden Eagle JL. I will literal have no choice but to teade in for it. I was very close to getting a JK one when it was time to buy but it would felt weird to not get the newer JL.
Oh wow I never saw this reply sorry lol.
I can't say that anything we found was actually designated as trails. As far as we could tell they were just logging roads or backroads locals use to get to hidden creek spots. But some of the areas pictured would not of treated your everyday sedan...
Ah good to know. Smittybilt also does the little extra accents that come apart like that which is what made me guess. Theyve got a similar shaped one I want to called Stryker but it's a stubby now that I looked at it.
Looks like a Smittybilt if I'm not mistaken. It never occurred to me that it's possible to customize the little addon pieces with color like that, very cool.
I've got 2 different issues trying to answer this. The first being that my own observations dont match up with the sales numbers out there. This kind of makes me doubt myself and what I happen to see. I feel I see more Punk'ns than anything but that could very well be a bias as I liked the...
That makes a lot of sense. I know I keep mine in my right pocket when the doors are off just in case. I would be too afraid of forgetting it if I took it out of pocket. I just always assumed that space was for phones. I keep mine sitting there vertically and it just seemed so intentional.
My guess is a 75th anniversary. The accent colors are very close to the golden eagle minus the actual eagle on the hood and the tan soft top. They actually offered the package on all 2016 jeeps i think. A patriot near me has it.
It takes more pressure than youd think to get it to 4h. Atleast it was more than I expected. The whole jeep moves when it does engage so it's clear you're fighting a lot of resistance. And to get 4l you have to go to neutral before it let's shift to it.
I guess it was bound to happen. Driving home from dinner tonight we got bombed with some some bird crap. I still cant decide if the sunshade made things better or worse. It hit the very front of the shade and treated us to a fine mist of liquidy white awfulness. I'm sure I'll be finding white...
That's pretty comforting. After seeing the ratio on the poll I decided I could live with the occasional rando not getting it. I think I will eventually change it up and put a rebel insignia next to the jeeps name. I would like to get it all in reflective vinyl eventually but havent been...
I managed to intercept and install mine before the wife knew about them. I knew she wouldnt believe me that theyd be sturdy enough to not have to worry about the kids riding in the back. Once they were on I showed her how the latches work and we all went for a cruise.
I did not. The hinge bolts matched the stock doors exactly (long bolt on top and short on bottom). I basically ended up only putting one of the caps on per door just to make swapping easier but all the parts functioned and fit.
It was. They're not assembled and the instructions are pretty lacking but theres nothing too complicated about them. Bolting the hinges and mirrors to the doors took about an hour and half then it's just a matter of swapping the doors out. There is a little adjustment to be made on the latches...
