Mine is still running great. In fact, the engine feels lame when I turn it off. That's the downside I guess. I can't go back :)
I would also like even more power. Though, if you want the power of an EcoBoost, or the N55, you should not go with this little 4 cylinder. RaceChip is advertising...
Well, it feels very smooth from 0 to max speed, so I guess they took the E-Torque into account. Furthermore, the dyno chart shows the effect of the overall system and it looks good. Not sure what they did, but I can't complain.
It connects to the boost pressure sensor and manifold pressure sensor and not the gas pedal sensor such as your throttle controller.
RaceChip has a throttle controller, too. It's called XLR.
RaceChip let someone do a review / marketing video and published it on their channel:
It's definitely a marketing video, but I can confirm most of the points. Before you criticize it, I suggest you make your own (independent!) review about the tune.
I finally received a dyno chart from RaceChip. It's the 4th gear and they were using 91 octane.
The power increase looks very smooth and consistent across the whole rpm range. The performance increase at lower rpms is impressive. Just draw a vertical line below 3000 rpm and the torque gain is huge.

I apologize for my long absence. I am far too busy these days, but I wanted to properly test this before I give a recommendation. In the meantime, I drove more than 700 miles including some light off-roading last weekend. I must say I am more than impressed. As they told me, it took about 100...
I agree that it's smarter to remove the device before you go to the dealer. But the other assumptions are not true.
Just because, you could do brutish or dangerous things, does not mean that RaceChip does this! It's pretty easy to check whether your negative assumptions are true. Just watch the...
If you are still interested in upgrades for the 2.0L Turbo, here is a link to the ongoing discussion about the RaceChip tune: https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/forum/threads/racechip-piggyback-tuner-for-2-0-jl.25544/
So far, I love it
That's interesting (I assume 2L, not 4L :). Did you ask what sells better? From my experience, people are still sceptical about the 2L engine. Very similar to the first EcoBoost engines Ford introduced. Nobody expected them to be that successful. I think we'll see the same within FCA.
Totally agree. Jeeps guys will be Jeep guys and difficult to trade to the Bronco. I assume more Jeep owners will switch to the Gladiator (not off-roader but the mall crawlers). The Bronco will only hurt FCA, if it comes for a better bargain.
Update: The piggyback arrived last Wednesday, but I did not have time to install it until Sunday.
Installation was pretty easy, their installation video explains everything. Just one thing: Do not install this when your engine is still hot. It's pretty tight there and easy to get burnt.
I did...
