I feel the same way about bumpers as you do. You should checkout Expedition One Trail Series bumpers https://www.exp-one.com/products/jl-wrangler-rear-bumpers/ They go the full way around. Note that they are pricey. It's what I want to buy, when I decide to fork out the cash.

I was planning on getting a Maximus roof rack because I know their short version works with the sunrider for hardtop. Does this one work with the sunrider? I attempted to search around but saw some conflicting responses.
