I am interested in this topic as well, and would love to know if you have any data on whether the sumo spring is engaged under load (trailer hitched up) without inflating/using the airbag. I have about 320lbs of tongue weight on my expedition trailer and get somewhere between 1-2” of sag sitting...
I am running a stock JLU Rubicon with 35” Milestar Patagonia MT-02’s. I am out fairly regularly/recreationally to do moderate off-roading (I will get full flex on the trail and such). I also have a Hive EX off-road camper that I tow for family glamping as well as off-road over-landing and off...
I want the same thing for my boy! I found them oversees... Here's the catch to order them there is a minimum order quantity...
Some min order requirements are for 20 or 30 of these things... I think we might need to use the power of the forum to get a container of these puppies for our...
I don't think they've shut down. Their site just has expired certificates. They have a WordPress site and I am something of a techie... Happens all the time if you don't religiously manage your website. You can still navigate to the site. If you browse using Chrome, you have to click "advanced"...
I do not recall. The install is done and I dont think my brother has the sport suspension anymore. But the Rubicon 4xe LCA's were a different part number than the Sport S's stock LCA's...
That's interesting, cause the PN's were different... I guess the moral of the story tho, if you get take-offs, your saying the LCA's are not a must when purchasing take-offs. Good to know!
For those interested. 4xe Rubicon Unlimited take off springs, shocks, and lower control arms installed on my brother Sport S Unlimited gave him about 2.75" inches of lift in the front and about 3" of lift in the rear. This setup seems to work well for the platform. My brother's perspective was...
Two hours ain't bad... Well done! Did you have to make much adjustment to steering at all once installed? I presume so, but was curious. Thanks a million for sharing.
Any updates on this? Really curious if anyone has installed a 4xe suspension set on a non-4xe model yet... My brother just bought a set, and I am not sure if it will be a happy accident, or if i should redirect him to get a non4xe setup. The stiffer spring could be helpful for towing his offroad...
Any updates on this install? My brother just bought used 4xe Rubicon take offs for his Sport S, and was wondering if he is going to regret it... He does tow an off-road trailer on occasion though, so wondering if it it possibly a happy accident...?
Ahhhhh! I think I understand now. This is super helpful. So, in theory, most folks that have had success on this thread have likely tapped into that yellow and black (or some say yellow and brown) which i assume is tied to that light on the right that you are talking about and thus, they are...
It certainly helps clarify. For me, then, back to the drawing board on tapping the circuit that the interior dome light are on, or something of the sort. Doesn’t look like it can be done from the fuse box either, as the only thing I could find on that was a circuit for “interior lights”.
Am I...
@boogie You just spliced from the hot wire (+) in the footwell to the light's hotwire (+) right? Would that mean that they stay on when the car is running?
@TTEChris i presume this is why you went with the (control) relay setup and why you are using the control wire right inside the foot well...
@NMElkHunter It looks like you've deleted your spare tire here with this rig. Is that right? Did you do this in order to clear the hitch coupler and maintain a level tow? It also looks like you might have a bit of a rise on the hitch too, is that right? A couple inches? I am looking at a similar...
@vrtraa this looks GREAT! I have a black Rubi too, and am debating between the Titanium or Satin Black Icon Rebounds. It looks like these are the Satin Black, right? If so, this is definitely what i am going with, looks STELLAR.
Do you have any issues with rubbing on the 2.5" and 37's? I do quite a bit of wheeling, and would like to get into a lift that will clear 37's, but JLUR is also my daily driver, so wanting to do as little lifting as possible while still getting the added clearance of a small lift, and the larger...
The harness is plug and play, yes. You simply remove the entire harness with the existing bulb connections and replace with the one that is attached to the new light assembly.
No issues, per say. I’d recommend not removing the fender if possible, as those clips to the body will likely break on...
