I'm updating my thread in case others have a similar problem. My Jeep spent 2 weeks at the dealership. First they tried to replace the Security Gateway Module. That did not fix it. Next they replaced the radio. It took 4-5 days to get one in. I knew that wasn't going to solve it, but they...
A few days ago I went to start my 2019 Wrangler Rubicon with 2.0 engine and eTorque. Lights and alarms started blinking and it wouldn't start. Obviously the battery was drained. Since the same thing had happened a couple months prior, I thought perhaps it was the Tazer JL Mini draining it...
I bought the rears but have not put them on yet. They are a little more complicated to install than the fronts. Hoping to get that done in the next couple weeks.
The mud flaps are RokBlokz. They come with a cutout for the standard rock rails. I just trimmed out a little more with a Dremel tool to make them fit the Mopar Performance Rock Rails. It worked out great.
I agree with this strategy. I'd also include the track bars. When I had suspension noises on my 2015 JK, it seemed to always be the front track bar. Loosening and re-tightening usually fixed it, along with some silicone spray. Thankfully my JL is quiet so far.
Edit: Also check your sway...
I have the Teraflex 1/2" spacers stacked to make it 1" total. It works fine.
Edit to add link from Teraflex saying stacking is ok: https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/forum/threads/anyone-stacking-spacers.24034/#post-573715
I have the Mopar Performance Rock Rails on my 4-door Rubicon with 37" tires. There is plenty of room and no chance the tires are going to impact the rail. I'll try to get some pictures tomorrow when it's not dark.
They stick out 2.5" which has been fine for my family. You can't get your...
I have a Quadratec Stealth winch on a Maximus-3 plate. A local shop that I've used many times put it on for me. They said some minor trimming was required to get the plate to fit. Other than that, everything went together well and functions properly.
I had to deal with the P0456 Small Evap Leak code a couple weeks ago. I'll post an image showing their write-up of the fix. Hopefully it will help you. No problems for me since taking it in.
I just measured both sides. From top of axle tube, to the bottom edge of the spring perch is 12.5". A lot lower than yours. Thanks for your replies. I'll give them a call.
I measured prior to the lift at the centerline of each wheel and took pictures with the yardstick leaned up against each fender flare. I then did the same after the lift. I'll post the passenger front pictures as an example. It was done in my garage, that is flat. I added up the weight on...
I had this lift installed today on my 4-door Rubicon. I also added my winch, Maximus-3 tow loops, and Maximus-3 winch plate to my front bumper. Unfortunately, that extra weight is crushing the lift. I took before and after measurements, and my net gain is only 5/8" front and 1-5/8" in the...
I took delivery of my 2019 a week ago and made it less than 200 miles before a check engine light for code P0456 small evap leak. My dealership got it fixed quickly. In my case it ended up being pins that were not seated correctly in a connector (Star case S18250000025). There was not an...
The simulated ring comes uninstalled in the same box with the wheel. You then attach it with the bag of bolts that are also supplied. Before attaching, you can send just the rings out for painting or powder coating. No need to send the entire wheel. Here's a picture of my simulated rings...
It's interesting you mention this. I ordered a Tazer JL Mini recently from Northridge. I received the box Friday, and it was a regular Tazer JL, not the Mini. The box was shipped directly from ZAutomotive. I contacted Northridge and they wanted pictures confirming the two-piece setup I...
