I had this issue. It was just the bolts up by the Sun visors that tighten the windshield frame. Mine were all loose. I tightened them and am now squeak/rattle free. š
Sucks, yes, but my 2018 Sahara was out of warranty and they just replaced it in November, so get in touch with Jeep Cares and give them your VIN. You might be pleasantly surprised. I was! š
My Aux battery died about 2 yrs ago and the dealership replaced it under warranty. They didn't say anything about issues with the main battery. After only a few months of the replacement, I started getting the battery charging message. I didn't pay any attention to it. I actually didn't mind...
Thanks for the info. If I have any weird issues, Iāll pull it out without hesitation and get the $100 one. But, so far itās been good. Every time I start the Jeep is defaults to start/stop disabled. My remote start works fine. Zero issues, but Iāll be monitoring it closely! Thanks
It does not plug into your OBDII port. Your OBDII port is left with nothing plugged into it. So far itās been perfect. Not a glitch and I havenāt noticed any parasitic draw issues, but I drive it everyday, so I guess I wonāt notice till it sits a long time without being driven.

I drove around some bumpy roads after tightening and the rattling is gone now. Iāll have to remember to check them every few months to make sure they are staying tight.
Yup, same. On bumpy roads Iāve been hearing a rattling noise around the grab handle. I started poking around and found all 4 bolts along the top of the windshield loose. Havenāt test driven till tomorrow, but everything seems much tighter just test pushing on things. Iām sure that was the issue.
