doing the dry steering test is what is making me believe it’s the drag link. It seems to have some horizontal play at the pitman arm at the locks.

Just checked my drag link ends. Found a bit of play and the boot was damaged. Looking like drag link end needs to be replaced. Do I need to do both even if only the one has play? Also and recommendations for good quality that doesn’t break the bank. Picture of the damaged boot.

Can anyone help me? I'm looking at the teraflex 3.5 on a 4door sport. I'm also planning on running 35s. This is my wife's setup. I feel as if the 3.5 is a bit much for just 35s. Also any other quality lifts around the 1800 dollar range like the teraflex. Thanks in advance.
