  1. 3.6 Bad Cam and Lifters - Possibly something more

Exactly what I did. I used all of my knowledge of knowing how to talk corporate + mechanics, with paper proof. And called them out multiple times on social. Jeep's Facebook presence has been terrible with the peoples' comments blasting them. Stellantis has a big mess ahead.
  2. 3.6 Bad Cam and Lifters - Possibly something more

I was in contact with multiple reps from them via email, phone, JeepCares' account on here, Jeep's Facebook page messenger. You'd get assigned your own case manager once they figure out how to handle you. Good luck on getting someone you can understand or someone who understands mechanics. Keep...
  3. 3.6L Oxygen Sensors

I hade the code right about same time I had misfire. I couldn't say if the misfire came first or not. Are you having a rough ride / noticing a backfire at all without a code? I already have the 68224424AA Right Downstream O2 Sensor en route for Monday. There's a freakin nationwide backorder on...
  4. 3.6L Oxygen Sensors

Going to be "that guy" and ask. How long can one drive with an very mildly intermediate misfire from the faulty O2 Sensor telling the engine it's too lean? I have to drive it back 15miles from the garage until my Right Downstream Sensor comes in. Just ride a bit rough while idle or not good at all?
  5. 3.6 Bad Cam and Lifters - Possibly something more

Blair with @JeepCares. I no longer need an update from my case manager. Nor from any of the 4 I have actually (read back to my previous message on this thread from me stating how I have 4 case managers and they need to get together and that Jeep Cares on Jeep's Facebook page knows about it, and...
  6. 3.6 Bad Cam and Lifters - Possibly something more

I now have an active oil leak (as of 25NOV23) that is dripping down from some place on my engine, down onto my transmission, driveshaft, and other components, and onto the ground after having the following performed on my ‘18 JLUR 6spd: I had all 4 Camshafts (5047913AD, 5048029AC, 5048030AD...
  7. 3.6 Bad Cam and Lifters - Possibly something more

My dealership replaced all that for mine too. Did not mention metal flake, but it has been a possible concern of mine. I would like a new engine regardless from how much it's been torn apart 'n put back together.
  8. 3.6 Bad Cam and Lifters - Possibly something more

After attempted fix #3 for my camshaft, my Jeep seems to be working alright. I am currently haggling with one of my four case managers for them to provide continued "goodwill request" cost assistance for this recent $944 bill. Still something I argue should be 100% covered by my former limited...
  9. Clutch Recall (2/23/23): Clutch Pressure Plate May Overheat -- Affecting 70,000 Manual Jeep Wranglers and Gladiators

Yeah, you know Jeep is low balling the garages so they have to pay them less. Until the techs find ways to upcharge it. As deserved.
  10. Clutch Recall (2/23/23): Clutch Pressure Plate May Overheat -- Affecting 70,000 Manual Jeep Wranglers and Gladiators

I cannot confirm this, but a member in a Jeep clutch recall group just posted this photo from a computer screen showing 2023 JLs and JTs now have a "remedy available" and it's the long awaited clutch assembly replacement and IPC / PCM software update. It would've been nicer to start with us...
  11. 3.6 Bad Cam and Lifters - Possibly something more

Yeah, I already got a "check engine light" on 70 miles later today. This'll be Strike 3 for it. We'll see what the reader says. If it is related, I'll be going the PA Lemon Law route because I have a lawyer who specializes with it. @JeepCares
  12. 3.6 Bad Cam and Lifters - Possibly something more

Just as an update: I was finally able to both get my JLUR into the garage AND get the solenoid part installed that was related to the original camshaft issue I had repaired back in May (or thought I did) / P105D code. A month-long process in all. The majority of the wait was related to the UAW...
  13. 3.6 Bad Cam and Lifters - Possibly something more

I was assisted by a Stellantis Case Management representative for my camshafts back in May of this year. The "cost assistance" case, not goodwill request, paid for my parts. I paid for the labour. Even though I initially brought this issue in prior to my Limited Powertrain Warranty expiration...
  14. 3.6 Bad Cam and Lifters - Possibly something more

Update for my camshaft / expired limited powertrain warranty case: FCA/Jeep sent this case to a "Stellantis" Case Management company and the rep sounded nice. But this is now considered a "cost assistance" case, not warranty extension or good will repair. He said, if approved, they're start...
  15. 3.6 Bad Cam and Lifters - Possibly something more

I legit claim the JLs (at least these first couple years) are just an entire generation of lemons and Jeep/FCA is just riding it out with bandaids and fulfilling the warranty/recall claims as they come up. Sad. I'm going to assume I have the NV241OR 'Rock-Trac'. The Transfer Case 2WD display on...
  16. 3.6 Bad Cam and Lifters - Possibly something more

This all started last year with a ticking I assumed to be from the lifters. Still being at 52,000miles, 6,000miles under the FCA limited powertrain warranty, I knew I was covered and took it into the shop. But I was told "deemed probably valve rattle or ping do not think it’s a camshaft issue"...
  17. 4WD System / Sway Bar Disconnect message and Transfer Case flicker

Has anyone experienced the Transfer Case 2WD display flickering while driving, then it go completely out and these two prompts of "4WD System Unavailable" and "Sway Bar Disconnect Unavailable" pop up on the dash? Still being able to switch between 2WD and 4WD manually with the shifter, but any...
  18. JLUR Manual clutch slipping at certain RPMs

@urr2slo sorry to hear you were dragged through as well. It took nearly 6 months for Jeep to reimburse me. Their representative working with me was the worst! Luckily my dealership/garage was good to work with and was on my side every step of the way, even with phone calls to Jeep themself to...
  19. Engine 'ticking/knocking' Class Action lawsuit in the works - Chrysler/Dodge/JEEP

I signed up and already received a phone call from the agency taking care of the class action. The representative asked me many questions and I think since I have a JL I still fit in. I have an appointment with my garage on the 21st. They said if it is the rockers/lifters that my powertrain...
