Hey all - trying to stock up on a few spare u joints for my axle shafts ahead of a trip on the Rubicon. I have a 2018 Rubicon with the D44 / M210 front axle. Factory axle shafts.
Having some difficulty figuring out exactly what ujoint is an appropriate drop-in replacement.
In checking the...
I don't know anything about the ReadyBrake or its requirements, but there should already be a plastic plug/grommet installed in the firewall you can simply pull and drill a hole through. If you pull the driver fender, or look in through the top you can see it - it is located about 8" above the...

UPDATE on this project!
Lived with the slide system and sleeping platform for about 4 months now with a few camping trips on the books and several rough trails.
Even with all of the severe "swinging" back and forth on the trails, washboards, etc... the fridge slide is holding strong and my...
+1 on Clayton.
Their Overland+ 2.5” kit has been solid for me for the last 2 years and 20,000 miles.
Solid support and advice via email with their team as well.
Thank you! Looking forward to getting it all finalized in the next few weeks.
At the moment the fridge is simply plugged in to the 12v socket in the trunk. Eventually I'd like to install an Anderson connector for a more secure connection and run a dedicated, larger gauge wire to the battery...
The last sprint on the project! Buttoning up the drawer face and building my collapsable sleeping platform.
Added a pair of cleats on the back of the box - glued and screwed. The cleats pull double duty - serving as both a lip for my sleeping platform to rest on and for the vertical supports...
Thanks man!
Sure - here's a photo from my previous project. I reused the factory bolts that came with the Jeep's tie down loops in the trunk. They worked well with 3/4" plywood and my current 1/2" set-up.
The trick to getting the bolt holes drilled in the right place is to thread your bolts...
NEXT STEPS! Build the platform.
Loaded up the fridge, slider, and my pre-cut base plate. As mentioned earlier, the fridge would need to be mounted at an angle to clear the soft top tailgate cross-bar (no idea what the technical term for it is).
In terms of operation, the RV45 is good to...
Previously, I'd asked out on the forums if anyone knew of an "overland" fridge slide solution for those of us with the soft top. The challenge (in my case) was that I want the functionality of a fridge slide without the need to unsnap the rear soft top panel every time I want to access the...

Yes there are holes that the bumper snaps/bolts in to, plus provisions for the washer fluid hoses.
They remove with little effort, easiest of you remove the heatshield from under the hood first.
I had to remove them when I went to add some custom vinyl to my hood. Popped them off, applied the...
I’m running the Fox 2.0 mono tubes they recommended. So far so good.
I scored a decent deal on them from Northridge back when I ordered the lift using the forum discount code.
I've been running Clayton's 2.5" Overland+ lift with 35's for about 2 years now and have been very happy with it's flexibility. Our club tends to run both "typical" overland routes and moderate to difficult local rock crawling trips here in AZ. Clayton's lift is pretty versatile and does both...
