I use a different part number, also now obsolete. Lol obsolete my @$# they’re being used in 2020 vehicles lol
I’ve only got a few left. I’ll see if I can come up with a LT solution to the problem. Thanks for the heads up @chiggerdude
The tazer or a dealer reflash can correct this.
Halogen lights are h13 dual filament bulb. It has a low filament and a high filament. Both on at the same time would burn the bulb out. The body control module can be reflash/reprogrammed to NOT cut the low signal when highs are switched on...
Typically factory daytime running lights come on only with engine running when the parking brake is released (or shift out of park on auto)
Parking lights typically come on with one turn of headlight switch, a further turn would turn on low beams
Ive seen this several times now, the dealer is not uploading / reflashing the proper code for the lights to work properly. See attached screen shot of dealer software - you need the “LPX” code properly flashed
Pretty sure LBQ is led side lighting but you got that re-flashed? I don’t know if there is a code for the 2 terminal pins on the BCM for halos yet (I sourced the pins and another member tried with no luck)
Maybe the sport BCM doesn’t support it... not sure but this guy is having the same...
A while back I made a pnp jumper to steal signals (or drl or turn or park) from the side light harness. Problem is getting to the connector you’d have to pull the fender liner as the connector sits about 3ft back from the headlight
Im willing to bet if you don’t have the 4th pin in the socket on the back of the headlight (not the connector plug that plugs into it) it doesn’t have halos
I made a pnp jumper for side light but it’s difficult to get to connector 3ft back behind the fender liner. It much easier (& less...
The wiring pin orientation may not be correct. I am not sure if just moving pins around would solve it.
As seen in your picture, looking at the front of the connector, number the positions 1-6 top to bottom.
Number one is not present in the new harness but is in OEM. This is a ground wire...
The power wire for the halo is the fourth wire. But there is no wire to attach to. I’ve made a adapter but you have to run a wire to either fuse box to a fuse tap or splice into side light wiring.
Someone else in UAE told me you cannot add wires (maybe legally) or void warranty.
If you have...
These are for Just for getting power to halo. I was working on a pnp adapter harness but it turned out to be a good amount of work to make it nice. Plus it incorporates anti flicker modules, that could eventually go bad. So do you make the harnesses with extra connections so the flicker...
