I had this happen on a brand new JK a few years back. The problem was a poor windshield seal from the factory that left a large gap underneath the windshield that you couldn't see. Same thing - really noisy at higher speeds. Dealer fixed it.
I have the Stauns and like them. I use the VIAIR 400P - one less thing to install and tend to; take it along when you need it; tucks nicely in the footwell behind the front seat of the 2-door. The only thing I'm not crazy about is the bag that the VIAIR comes in.
I just installed the MC front diff so I guess I'll see if there will be contact with the track bar at some point. I called MC before I installed it and asked if I would have an issue with track bar / diff cover rubbing on my 2018 JLR and their answer was "no, you won't experience an issue on a...
The screw that comes with the Rugged Ridge mount rusted for me. And, if your JL is white the spacer for that mount will leave a permanent yellow ring on the cowl.
hey Jeepfan30. It started after the new axle was installed and it was one of those things that was noticeable - one of those, "that's weird I don't remember that" things. And the thrumming wasn't / isn't constant but pulsating between that MPH band. Not sure what my take is on the whole thing at...
Amen, brother. Last time at that place. I sent a note to JeepCares asking for some adult intervention (or maybe an introduction to a Jeep engineer that can explain to me this new technology development of a CAI being part of a modern drivetrain). This is one of those things that feels like it...
The rear axle on my JLR failed after <3K miles on it. After almost 2 months waiting for a replacement and having it installed, this thrumming started on mine. I took it into a different dealership this week to check it out and they are blaming it on an aftermarket CAI. Sure, that makes a ton of...
The only challenge I have with the JL soft top is the windows. I love how they come off easily and go back on easily. I've got some minor complaints about how much the top tucks in when folded down. But, I live in a place where the weather changes every hour and if I am out with the dogs in the...
