  1. Photograph of the Month Contest - May 2019

Out shooting the Milky Way beside the Hole In the Rock road.
  2. Dash instrument cluster failure after two days

Had the flash update done last Friday. It worked. No rebooting to date. Before the flash I was having daily rebooting. It started 2 days after I got the jeep, Dec. 24 and continued to the morning of the flash. Mine would fix itself after a couple of minutes, so I lived with it. I did not want...
  3. LOD destroyer sliders

Make sure you have the right hex bolts. I installed a pair last week and received the wrong ones. Went to a machine shop to get the right ones. Check out this thread. https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/forum/threads/help-installing-lod-signature-sliders-broken-bolt.24658/
  4. Help installing LOD Signature sliders - broken bolt

So I went back to the machine shop. The bolts they gave me this morning were not a 1.5 pitch. I can confirm that M12x1.5 are the right ones.
  5. Help installing LOD Signature sliders - broken bolt

I went to a machine shop and bought a M12x1.5x25. The threads are still wrong. Back to the shop with the bolt out of the passenger side to see if I can get a match. I have a 2019, maybe they are different ?
  6. LOD Destroyer Sliders muck and splash protection.

I know people have been asking how well the Destroyer sliders protect the sides of your jeep. Today I did some errands running around on snowy slushy streets. Attached is a photo showing how well they protect the sides. Rear fender still gets hit but much less than the original sliders.
  7. Ski Box for Rubicon

I really didn't consider another tire. I have been using these tires on my other vehicles for a number of years. They work very well in extreme winter driving conditions. They have tons of siping and a soft compound that really grips the road. They also wear very well, they last 4 winters...
  8. Ski Box for Rubicon

Just finished installing a Thule Hyper Xl on my jeep. Used the Thule Wingbar Evo 150 and the Thule Rapid Gutter Foot Back. From the picture you can see we get lots of snow so I am running dedicated winter tires, Toyo Observe GSI5. They work so much better than the KO2 in tough winter...
  9. Am I the only silly person running winter tires on a Rubicon?

Yesterday returned from Vancouver to Revelstoke over the Coquihalla with my 2019 JLU Rubicon with the KO2's. Very bad winter conditions. This morning I am ordering Toyo GSi-5 winter tires. I have ran the Toyo GSi-5 on my last two vehicles, they are so much better in icy conditions.
