  1. Occasional flat tow JLU sport

This right here is what made me reach out to Blue Ox online for answers. Most are 7/8” but I didn’t want to assume, I wanted direct source answers. I told them which Smitty bumper model I had and they (Blue Ox) verified the exact item number needed for setup.
  2. Occasional flat tow JLU sport

I'm going to be running into a similar issue this December when my wife and I have our 3rd child. I need to find a way to do 3 car seats if possible and I will NOT be getting rid of my Jeep. If my wife wants that shiny mini-van she is eyeing, dad is going to be Ram shopping.
  3. Occasional flat tow JLU sport

I am almost certain that if the sizes of the holes are different, you would need two sets of adapters. Swapping those out is super easy and wouldn't hinder me from towing two different Jeeps if I had two Jeeps to tow. You sir have a nice problem to have! :)
  4. Occasional flat tow JLU sport

100% Recommended on the tow bar. It's rated at 10K, same for my drop hitch adapter. It would be more than enough for a JLUR. I'm actually looking to pick up a Ram Rebel this winter and I will probably flat tow my Jeep sometimes with that as well. Save yourself a little money and see if you...
  5. Occasional flat tow JLU sport

It bolts in like all the other bumpers without any additional bracket as far as I know. I do know there are a few brands that directly specify that you can flat tow and Smitty was not one. I did a lot of research on here, eTrailer, and spoke with a local trailer company which did my wiring...
  6. Pictures of camping with your Jeep

Not as cool as camping with a rooftop tent but I sure do love my air conditioning, bed, water, etc... that are in my coach. The Winnebago has some clearance but a terrible break over angle...
  7. Banks Power - Ram Air Intake

Good to hear that install was smooth. I ordered today, and should be arriving soon.
  8. RUBICON Lift Less than 2 inches - options without going spacers ?

Correct on the 1.75’s. I can’t recall the measurement as I did it about a year ago before I did steering/lift/all control arms. Here are pics from install.
  9. RUBICON Lift Less than 2 inches - options without going spacers ?

Good eyes! You are exactly right. I do have the Spydertrax wheel spacers and no, my wheels haven’t fallen off. I do my own oil changes and tire rotations and check the torque on the lugs of the spacers each time. They haven’t budged.
  10. Best sounding Cold Air Intake??

I’m waiting for Banks Power to come out with theirs. Coming this month per news release.
  11. Flat towing or Trailer?

Agree 100% with your view on these forums. I’m getting my JLUR setup to flat-tow next week and setting out next month with our Winnebago Class A for a little trip to Florida. This kind of input is priceless and I did a lot of reading before making my decisions. This will be my first time flat...
  12. RUBICON Lift Less than 2 inches - options without going spacers ?

I did the steering in mine myself with the synergy kit as well, but the lift I had installed due to getting a great deal at my local 4x4 shop along with wanting an alignment for good measure after install. Do you plan on doing it yourself?
  13. RUBICON Lift Less than 2 inches - options without going spacers ?

Exactly as advertised. I did not get over 2” in increase like you would see in some other 2”-2.5” lifts. At this size , I have already done 3 Jeep Badge of Honor trails in Hot Springs Arkansas and the rig had no issues on any of them. Made the trails look easy actually!
  14. RUBICON Lift Less than 2 inches - options without going spacers ?

You are completely right in the King Shocks!
  15. RUBICON Lift Less than 2 inches - options without going spacers ?

And these would still be very solid options.
  16. RUBICON Lift Less than 2 inches - options without going spacers ?

Yes those shocks are in the plan With matching rears! Not today unfortunately, but me and this JL are in it for the long haul. She is a keeper. With the synergy lift on a JLUR, once I decide to go 37’s later down the road, it’s already ready to go with minimal adjustments. And if I decide to...
  17. RUBICON Lift Less than 2 inches - options without going spacers ?

I did not have to install front spacers. I thought I was going to, but with my SB XRC stubby and winch, it sits level. The front springs are seriously awesome! To best answer that question, here is the description of the springs directly from Synergy... Multi-rate, progressively wound...
  18. RUBICON Lift Less than 2 inches - options without going spacers ?

2” Synergy Lift on my JLUR on 315’s accomplishes exactly what you are looking for. Shock relocation brackets on mine right now with the stock Rubicon shocks but I plan on going Fox 2.5’s. I have changed out all my control arms and steering components with Synergy’s products and it’s worth...
  19. Let’s see lifted granite crystal metallics!

My 19 JLUR w/ 2” Synergy lift on 35 inch Nitto Ridge Grapplers w/ stock rims and 1.75 inch spacers. Also have all 8 Synergy adjustable control arms, and the Synergy HD steering kit w/ fox 2.0 steering stabilizer. My hardtop is actually paint matched but I have it wrapped in Satin Black...
