This just happened to me over the holiday weekend. I drove from SC to Ohio to visit family. I followed my Dad down to our hunting property and he got his 1500 stuck in the mud so I tried to pull him out in my Rubicon. No go so we just jumped in the Jeep and drove the hour back home.
So I...
Yes. This happened to me a few days after I bought mine.
If all speakers sound like they are blown..very distorted, just let it sit with the radio off overnite. Or disconnect the positive battery cable for a couple hrs.
I was mortified when it happened on a trip to Ohio. I was jammin pretty...
I'll throw my .02 cents in on the push button start.
As we all know, there is a key inside the fob. There was also a key inside the fob of my 2016 Challenger Scat Pack.
The reason for this explained in my Challenger manual was in case of a dead battery, you could still use the enclosed key to...
There is a uconnect app in the pay store.
Or actually, there are several.
I use the "Mopar" app. Scroll right and it shows "jeep wave" icon. It will take you to the jeep wave program and show your status.
Not sure how I initiated it.
It was when I registered my uconnect for extra features. Then later that day I recieved an email from dodge to finish registering on that webpage.
I think it must be the uconnect app, because it's also showing my Challenger so I must have registered it 3 yrs ago...
I was going to inquire about free oil changes. I recieved 4 free oil changes when I bought my 392 Challenger back in 2016.
There was no mention of free oil changes when I purchased my JLUR last month but after registering my xm radio thru mopar.com, it's showing 4 free oil changes and 4 tire...
I was under the impression that the rear could only be ordered(sahara not sport) M220 with the Dana 44 wide. Where did you get the D44 front and who installed it.
More so....why?
Bummer. Was hoping to find them in the cargo area. Havnt even seen my tool kit yet but I did find 2 other small straps about the length of the Velcro straps I found that hold my top down in the sunrider position.
Also 6 mopar lug nuts in the center console.
Doubt I'll ever put the windshield...
I found 2 Velcro straps under the cargo hatch in the rear. I used them when I folded back the sunrider soft top to the 1st position. Not sure if they are the same ones or they might be hidden in the windshield stops.
They look like they open up and fold back. There is a latch it looks like but...
I've been a Tacoma owner since late 2001 and a regular on Tacoma forums. Sad to see the quality of the 3rd gens nosedive like they did. Glad you got out of it and enjoying the JLR.
6yr/75k mile warrenty.
I'm with the OP in that with all these bells and whistles, electronics, etc... I see no problem adding a little extra ($25 per month) to the initial purchase price.
And you know....FCA and all.
I traded in a 2016 Scat Pack 6m on the Rubicon. At 25k miles, the entire 5th...

Picked up my Rubicon on Dec 29th (traded in my "16" Scat Pack Shaker) and headed for Ohio to visit my folks.
I'm a Toyota guy and I've owned my 2002 prerunner since new. (Locked and heavily modified)
My needs have changed and the Rubicon fit the bill perfectly...
