Sorry your having issues. I can honestly say after the firmware update and swap of the USB ports I have t had any issues with mine and I had mine installed by Mo Music out of Sparks Nevada and it has worked great with exception of occasional orange screen that comes on in reverse. Best of luck...

I don’t believe disconnecting the battery before installing the unit would cause an issue. You could pull the stinger unit since your pulling it all out again and throw your stock unit back in to see. I’d suggest maybe back tracking your work and just double checking that you have all the wires...

Roger that. Their is an option for other cameras just wasn’t going to get crazy installing cameras everywhere and I don’t have a factory front camera on my jeep just the back up.

I would check for a pinched wire and I agree with Mike on his responses to your questions. 1. Yes mine powers up with start/stop button 2. No lag on volume dial

To clarify Apple CarPlay and android work through the center and back USB ports. The front port below the AC is used for uploading firmware upgrades and personal wallpapers.

Yes I can. They are specific so you need to make sure the front USB cable goes in the top and USB cable for the rear ports go in the bottom.

No my wheels are ProComp Wheels. I went with the all black and suppose I May change up here in a couple years.
