Anyone have some spare cash? :)
1500 Miles
Pennzoil Platinum/OEM
Nope (I might do it @ 5k miles, just to get any updates and such)
I like doing it myself (I don't like strangers touching my car(s)) :)
After putting on a few hundred more miles since my last post, I pretty much came to this same conclusion/observation. However, windy days are still interesting... Think i'll be pushing for a new steering box.
My 2cents - The leather seems to be very dry. I applied leather conditioner (Chemical Guys) to all my seats and seemed to have solved any "puckering" within the leather.
Following up on a previous post. I did end up installing a Falcon EF 2.2 stabilizer over the weekend. It may not have solved my loose steering, but it definitely made a big difference in the drive-ability/wandering. I feel I'm not correcting as much during my 30min commute. +1 to @TeraFlex...
I get an odd engine stutter when in low RPM (±1300 rpm) in 3rd gear (6 spd manual) going around 23-25mph. I would chalk it up to a mapping issue. There is a thread about it somewhere.
1st post, newish reader, and new owner of a JL Rubicon. Started reading this forum about 6 months ago. Bought my JL in November. Built September.
For the whole time I’ve owned my Jeep I thought this ‘loose’ stearing was a “Jeep” thing. Up to 1600miles now...
Made an account finally just to...
