Beautifulāhad a Mustang in similar paint. Also, I can be honestāI looked at the Bronco Raptor. But if youāre going to get a Bronco, the only proportions that worked for me was the 2-door. Awesome look.
I also agree with a lot of the marital adviceāweāre on 20 years this year, so I like to...
Still laughingāthanks guys.
So the story is:
No kids, but I had a WBSP Challenger I picked up last summerāand the two door.
I just couldnāt continue to drive the Challenger down the dirt road, and roll it to the back of the garage during the 8 months of winter here in Alaska.
This came up...
Iām in Alaska, so a remote start is a needed luxury.
I installed one on my manual JL with cell phone capability as well.
Lessco Electronics. He programs and pre-wires as much as he can and ships it out to you. Took me about 2-3 hours for install, but I took my time. All in all I tied into...
Iām in Alaska. It will be fine. At -40 the suspension is rough, and the clutch can be lethargic. But its fine. If you plan to leave it outside over night without a block warmer, itās gonna be a tough start, but it will be fine.
Iām in Alaska. User error. It keeps up in blizzards and the -50 temps. Itās not a BMW, but we donāt see many BMWs on the trail either. Itās a give and take-and I can tell you after driving every interation of Wrangler (and before they were Wranglers), FCA nailed the JL.
Iām not a fan boy...
XLMOJITO,
Where did you source the tubing and what size? I had it in my amazon cart awhile back and the wife deleted it āāļø. Iād appreciate the info!
My wife's new Elantra had this issue a couple of years ago. Replaced under warranty no questions asked. Never had an issue again. Wife uses lotion and such--suspected that might be the case, but it never occurred on the replacement steering wheel.
XJRider, I couldnāt agree more. I feel like people want Jeeps to ride and sound like a BMW. Itās never going to happen. They are purpose built vehicles. Iām big on buying equipment for the mission at hand. I have a 3/4 ton diesel thatās only purpose in life is to tow. Adventure motorcycle...
Guys-
Thanks for the warm welcome. Also, sorry I forgot the Merry Christmas and happy holidays part!
Nice rigs guys! Iām actually happy I didnāt modify the JK as I would have lost the money for sure on such a short turn around. Wife isnāt going to like the plans for this one though.
Dan, we...
Hey guys! New to the JLU but not new to Jeep. Ive had a couple to include an ā85 CJ7 that I restored.
I traded in the JK Rubicon for this, and had taken an 8 year break from Jeeps after I discovered German engineering! I rode in a buddies JK and was blown away by how far they had come since...
