I did mine today too! I rapped rope around the tire and zip tied lights to it. We'll see how long it last I guess since zip ties are kinda brittle when cold

Yeah A/C turns on when I turn recirculate too but you can turn A/C off and recirculate will stay on.

One would think that Jeep got shaken enough that alarm would/should have gone off... But that is terrible for someone to do that...

I only engine brake or down shift in an emergency situation where I start to slide on black ice or snow. And seems to work pretty gud

I had similar noise from the rear cargo area but mine was more like constant tacky noise. Turns out it was the tail gate rubbing against the rubber of the rear window. Thanks to @Arterius2, Teflone tape like in the picture solved the problem :)...
