what did I do to my Wrangler today? I traded it in! can you say up grade? no more 2018 blue Sahara, I had to have the 2020 Sarge green Rubicon, I did keep a few bits of the blue one, I'll get to installing those one of these weekends, love this color, thats my inner G.I. talking

  3. What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

It will rub in a super hard turn against the lock. It’s minimal, in parking lot maneuvers. I’ve only heard it twice. I was worried about it rubbing during a panic stop but I’ve tested it a couple of times and get nothing. I’m extremely happy with it
  4. What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

  6. What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

I had enough miles on the OEM tires to scrap them and not feel guilty, so I installed new 35/12.5/18 BFG A/T's. No lift, just a front leveling kit. looks and rides great!
  7. Quadratec Stealth light bar review?

I installed one in my JLU a couple of months ago. It was a straight forward install, it was actually fun to do. Watch the video from Quadratec. I have a dual top option so I like to go thru the car wash when I have the hard top on (all 8 months of winter here in Michigan) with the light bar...
  8. Never thought I’d be a snorkel guy

How does it do in the car wash? Is there a drain or cover that you have to install prior to driving thru a car wash?
  9. I hate the white hardtop interior color

I installed a boom mat headliner and love how it looks and performs. Makes it much quieter and warmer during our polar vortex’s here in Michigan and they just look flat out good
  10. Jeep The Mac 2019

I'm about half of that. So you win. I'm really looking forward to it! we're gonna have a ball
  11. Driving in snow and couldn't see sh*t

As a Michigander, this happens to me at least one a winter, at least. The only way to go is Amber lamp covers for your off road lamps. The bright white light just shines back in your face and you're screwed. I purchased some 9" off road lamps and paid extra for the amber covers. When the weather...
  12. Jeep The Mac 2019

My wife and I will be there with both our Ocean Blue JL's We can hardly wait!
  13. Cracked Windshield Club

New member of this group, victim of pothole chunks here in Michigan. Not the club I wanna be in, 4653 miles on it before the impact, I guess I did good
  14. Does anyone actually fold the windscreen down? I don't get it...

it also made it much easier to load into aircraft (old paratrooper here) for low attitude extraction on pallets.
  15. Has anyone else run out of gas yet?

Being in the automotive repair industry for the last 29 years, I've seen in-tank fuel pumps lives get cut in half by owners that don't keep some fuel in their tank. the "heat" that is a problem is the repeatedly running it low. it doesn't happen immediately, it's over the thousands of miles of...
  16. Bumpers

I went with the Warn Elite front bumper and the Warn Zeon winch because I love the brand and the tucked in look. I added a Warn front skid plate below the front bumper as well. fit and finish are nice. it was an easy install. the instructions aren't the greatest, but who uses instructions? you...
  17. Check in here if your steering is good. Tight, No wander, No Wobble

I've had two "Events". both after I installed my winch and steel front bumper and I'm wondering if it's related to the extra weight hanging on the front. First event at 75mph up a slight incline on the highway, hit an expansion joint (Michigan roads blow) and the front wheels started bouncing...
  18. Am I the only weirdo that looks back at his Jeep after it's parked?!?

Every time I park and when I walk thru the kitchen I can't help but look in the garage!
  19. The Non-Rubicon Jl & JLU Thread

My wife and I both have Ocean Blue 2018 JLU Sahara's and the first this we did was lose the side steps. they tend to leave mud across the back of your legs every time you get out. I purchased the Mopar rock rails that fit nice and snug and they do protect the body, (sold both sets of steps on...
