I replaced front LCA with longer Mopar LCA. Drives 75% better and steering is now tolerable, only slight play on Freeway whereas before had 1 inch play. Steering is heavier. Increased caster to 7.0. No other steering changes to stock 18 JLUR Rubicon Sept build. Also had alignment with toe in...

Use a screwdriver and pliers to bend the alligator clips. It all goes back together very easily. Good luck!

I had the 1 inch play and loose steering feel but after installing the mopar LCA with toe in alignment, the steering feels a lot heavier and I only get slight play on the highway. This is now tolerable and I dont think about it as much when I drive. My caster ended up at 6.8 degrees. Dont know...

I agree. I bought the Mopar extended control arms which got me to 6.7 degrees of caster and steering improved 75%. Steering feels a lot tighter and heavier. Had alignment toe in to .20 degrees. Everything else us stock on 18 JL Rubi. Save yourself the headache of the dealership. For $30/ arm x...
