This is what I'm thinking. We're all pushing these refrigerators, so we can't be in a rush. I would still like to hit 80 on the freeway though w/o regearing. Hopefully a 3.6l can do so flat if not completely loaded down (w 37s).
Since you also live in CA and probably see some varied terrain, I'd like to find out the specs on your Jeep. I've got a 3.6l JLUR with the automatic and I'm debating between 35 and 37 inch BFG KO2s. They don't weigh that much so I'm wondering if the 3.6l can turn them without regearing. If you...
My friend's red rubicon dash got scratched and we bought the replacement panel from the dealer. We replaced the passenger side in about 45 minutes. There's an airbag behind it so you need to disconnect power. It is mostly panel clips that need removal so use a panel tool and tape. I'm sure you...
Not regenerative braking, just braking in general. With going to 37s, was wondering how hard you need to hammer on the brakes in an emergency stop. Did you change pad material or stay OEM. Good to hear that braking is fine. I've got a JLUR with the 3.6 and stock gearing. Just weighing the...
I really like the look with the 37s and a mopar lift. One question I have not seen answered was about how much affect there has been on Rubicon braking? If you go from stock 33s to 37" tires, are people changing anything in the braking?
Sorry if I disrupted the flow of this topic, but it...
I think it was a cut/solder/heatshrink sort of repair. Although he told me that he replaced the connector, there was some hesitation so I'm not sure if he actually did or not. If you read the repair description above, I don't think he replaced it.
I just got it back today and they said that the factory-wrapped wires that go to the locker on the axle had been zip-tied too tight and caused the wires to break. I spoke to the tech and he said he spliced in a new connector/lead. I uploaded the description/photo below
I'm having the same issue with my 2019 JLU Rubicon. This is the 3rd visit to the dealer. The first time they said they would change the axle, but then it was on backorder so they flushed the diff and cleaned some metal parts they said was fouling the sensor. I drove it away and they same...
I hit JB status today on 2019 Sting-gray JLU Rubicon w 3.6L
It was ordered on 11/30/18
D code on 12/6/18
VIN on 12/9/18
D1 code on 1/11/19
I asked Jeep Chat if they could look into the status a little more on 1/24/19 and they said they offered to "escalate the case" because it had been in D1...
