Drove on the beach for years in a 1997 TJ with 30 maybe 30.5 in. mild ATs. Stopped airing down after the first 20 or so times never had a problem. I have put about 600 miles on my 2021 JLU Sport S, probably about half of those on the beach does just fine. Don't air down in the JLU, mainly b/c...
Thank you. I guess I take some comfort in knowing I'm not the only one, not really. What are these engineers doing over there? Engineer 1: "Well we have a PS system that has worked for decades let's just use it in the JL." Engineer 2: "No let's redesign it." Engineer 3: "Wouldn't it be great if...
You've said that twice but what is it? I'm no mechanic but I've been around boat motors and cars for a few decades. Something whining/squealing from an engine bay doesn't inspire much confidence (i.e. its usually a problem). All brakes squeal eventually with your logic we should just ignore...

Thanks for the reply. I'm actually a huge fan of the new Bronco. If Ford would ever build them I would have crossed shopped it for sure. But I needed a new ride. Not disappointed, but I don't have any hate for the Bronco.
Thanks everyone. The TJ was my first ride at 16, I can never part with that Jeep. I recall as a young man when the TJ was my only vehicle thinking how great it would be if I could only save up enough money for full doors (never managed to get them). Now everyone is clamoring to get half doors...
Hi Everyone. Been here on and off for a while obviously I don't post much. Just got a new JL today. Nothing special a Unlimited Sport S, but it suits my needs just fine. I'm coming from a 97 TJ straight 4 with 197K miles. Having driven the TJ for the last 20 years I have to say these new JL's...
Apparently Jeep Wrangler's are being targeted on OBX.
