I've just found the same problem. My 4Xe has 20,000 Kms (almost 12.5K miles), 15 months old. Goes to a new dealer 12th Apr for service. What a the chances of a warranty repair...Will keep you posted.

Techy question...is the Pedestrian Alert sound generated at the "speaker", e.g. voltage applied to a module like a car horn, or could it be a module/computer playing a WAV/MP3 (or similar) then output to actual speakers?

What was the problem? I am in the process of dumping (trading) my JLU ladened with a non-confidence inspiring dual-mess flywheel, for a 4xe…before the warranty runs out.

Mine's been in for a month now...still waiting.

Right now I would take a straight trade for the Automatic. I'm driving a RAM Truck as a loaner with the 8spd. It can't make up it's mind which gear to choose, with the hills and short Hwy On Ramps we have here, but at least I can drive it, and it does't have a dual mass flywheel.

Update #2 Chatted with the Service Adviser yesterday. He is sympathetic...It's been parked on their lot now since 25 May, waiting on parts. He said they ordered the Clutch Kit. The latest ETA is July.

Question... Nobody has mentioned problems with the Dual Mass Flywheel. My wife's 2010 Nissan Cube (6spd Manual) has just had her clutch replaced at 80K Kms (50Kmls). They replaced the Dual Mass Flywheel saying it had also failed. Could a bad Dual Mass Flywheel on our JL's have an impact on...

Update: I hear many of you out there are hearing the same script from your Service Managers. Some nicer than others. Mine's been good so far. I had to trade my loaner for another truck...They offered to loan me a new Wrangler ...Screaming RED :-O !!!! ...No Trailer Hitch :o( NO Boating...

Okay, So the local North Van Service Dept seems to be "Under New Management". They did the first maintenance oil change, and now they are doing my Clutch Recall... So far they are doing a great job.

So, I booked the recall, and got a 2 week appointment, due to parts ordering. Yep...It's leaking. Just traded the JLUS for a RAM 1500 5.7 Hemi, for 3 weeks, due to parts ordering; nice truck, it should tow the boat. Then I expect the next part will be the "Smoke Test", I'm sure it will fail...

North Van, was "Disappointing", Carter on Willingdon and Lougheed treated me very well, but they're closing down. Still looking.
