Just had this happen to our Jeep JL MOAB 2018 today. Very similar symptoms except even remote start and hard pressing the brake pedal did not work. Finally got it working by pressing the Start button -- without -- foot on the brake pedal. That seemed to have taken it out of whatever lock mode...

Did you have to work them down from MSRP or was this an existing deal? Or was this a TrueCar type deal?

Is there a reason you don't keep it in 4 Auto all the time? Is it worse on gas for example?

We got to test one for the weekend And compared it to a Rubicon similarly speced. The Rubicon had noticable play in steering. The MOAB was much more sure similar to our Honda Pilot which is a good thing. Solid and steady on the road.

I was sold on the "combo" idea. I liked the look of the Rubicon but the drive was not great for daily commutes. There's a lot of play in the steering for example. I liked the drive of the Sahara but the look was more tame than I preferred. The MOAB is a perfect balance for my taste.
