change diff fluids, and oil. wash, and wait for mother nature to stop being tripolar and give us some warm weather that stays for more then one day so i can drop the top
make sure the track that goes along the side of the jeep is all the way in, especially that corner. i didnt have mine all the way in and actually messed up my window, and the corner tab wouldnt go in. Once i finally realized what i was doing wrong, now it goes in perfect and easy every time.
how does your sport do withe the new gears. I have a sport w a manual, and am on the 33' bfgs and run in to the same problem your describing on hills in 4h - stalling. I also do a combination of driving, freeway and country roads in northern Va.
It is. I am seriously considering the Centerforce just want to see some real world opinions. Ive driven a stick all my life, and i know some aftermarket ones are a bear to deal with while others are a cake walk. i want to make sure its not the first one lol
Awesome info. thank you. when you get a couple thousand miles on it would you mind reposting on how its doing. I saw one person saying they had issues getting it into first gear. NOt sure if they got it figured out or whatever.
kind of a dumb question but did you do the entire centerforce clutch ? if so, how many miles, how do you like it? i have a sport w a 6spd and even though i finally got used to the clutch i still hate the damn thing and am seriously considering changing mine.
hahahaha yea the look lol. im sitting here talking with my LT about all this stuff.... people are only gonna stay on lockdown for so long before they say F it, im going for a drive, or something to get out of the house.
definitely not my first manual...... probably about the 6th one ive either owned or had access to drive. my cobalt w 250k on the clutch is better then the jeep one.
i work in a jail so no working from home for me. i was hoping to take the jeep this week and go for a destinationless ride with my son with the top open. he has been out of school for a few weeks now and is seriously getting itchy and wants to go somewhere. now with the lockdown in place...
love my manual trans. very smooth. hate the clutch. took me almost 10k.miles to get used to it. it still feels like its slipping, i hope when the recall comes out it gets replaced with something better. only other complaint i wish it had more power on the freeway, being in va im in a lot of...
i have seen that, and am actually excited about the possibility. i have driven a stick all my life, and this one by far took me the longest to figure out. Plus i have smelled it a couple of times, also something i have never had happen.
go to koons in tysons, talk to Craig. awesome experience. he is VERY busy though, as he is the internet jeep sales person. i drove from culpeper to buy from him. but had a flawless experience.
much better clutch, that doesnt feel like its slipping. that or fix the damn tune so it will run better.
wider driver seat, the seat is comfortable but i always have a little pressure on my right hip which is annoying after a while.
one last thing geared better from the factory. why on earth...
i have the signatures on my sport, i dont use the step but my mom does. Stock height, but with the BFG KO2's the rubicons have. Makes it a lot easier for her to get in.
