I have just the stock Sport Suspension w/the Rubicon Shocks. There's no lift. I wanted the more heavy duty gas shocks from the Rubicon. My steering is just fine, though I may have to add a spacer to the front when I add my winch, which I hope to install this weekend. UPDATE: No spacer needed...

I picked up a Rubicon set on eBay for $50, w/just 50 miles on them. I have them installed on my stock Sport suspension, w/no issues.

UPDATE: For those interested, I've had the Rubicon Shocks on my stock Sport JLU, w/the stock suspension, for well over a year now, and have had no issues at all w/them.

Jack it up via the differential housing and turn one of the wheels. If both wheels turn in the same direction, you have a Limited-Slip, and if they turn in opposite directions, an Open Differential.
