I’m using “husky” brand. But anything that size that fits in the track to catch the seat when it slides back should work. Check in the track as well to make sure there isn’t any broken pieces in the way?

That’s what you have to do to get in back into that position. If you put something in the way of the track it will recline back to the correct position.

Yes that’s the one. Ugh that sucks. I’m pretty upset it’s just a weak piece of metal and plastic that keeps that in check. Similar situations with the lever to fold down the seats up top at the shoulder. I’ve read here that those break too. People are using locking pliers and such to rig it.
