Thanks for sharing your experience. Do you mind sharing who did your installation? I live in San Diego and can't find anyone around here and I notice your profile shows you are in Los Angeles. A Los Angeles shop would be great if I knew they were recommended. Thank you.
I bought same size, same packaging. No tip. I guess I'm unlucky. It just kills me I had to spend a couple hours driving around looking for tips so I wouldn't have to buy a 20 pack of tips on Amazon just because some jerk decided to take the tip out of the packet before shipping. I feel...
I didn’t find it in stock either first few days then it showed up a few days later. Mine didn’t come with mixing tip so just heads up. Yes I did order the 25 ML size. I found mixing tip at O’Reilly auto parts. You would expect the tips to be around but none at HoneDrpot, Auto zone, Napa. I gave...
I ordered the one you linked to - thought it would come with the tip. Package was taped shut like it had been opened, maybe someone robbed the tip. Oh well, I will see if Home Depot has them. Thanks for the great write-up on potting and all of your follow-up info! As soon as I find a tip I...
I hate to ask a stupid question but here it goes... I just received the potting compound that @chevymitchell recommended (25ML) and it didn't come with a mixing (dispensing) tip. Anybody know where I can get one? Just need one, don't plan on using this for anything else later.
If you run 35s then I actually found a response from someone who runs what I’m asking about. Sounds like you are happy with 4.88. Do you ever find yourself thinking well maybe I could have gone to 5.13? I realize that is personal preference and it really depends on how you use your Jeep but...
I appreciate everyone responding but true I can’t seem to get feedback from people with experience with this setup. Since 90% of my on-road driving is around town I’m going with 5.13. I will report back after I get some miles on them.
it is lifted now with Dynatrac lift. I’m not going higher...
I have the V6. Thanks for the reply. I see those comments of not needing to regear a lot too. I’m hoping someone who has done a regear can reply and share their thoughts on 4.88 vs 5.13. I see a lot of comments with 37s but not with 35s. I’m guessing because most with 35s don’t do it but hoping...
Anybody running 5.13s with 35s and auto? I appreciate everyone’s feedback but responses with 37s, or 35s and 4.10s won’t help me. I currently run 35s and 4.10s and will definitely regear to 4.88 or 5.13. I want to go 5.13 but would appreciate any feedback from those that have 35s and auto with...
Yes would love to hear why you chose it you were so positive towards Edelbrock. Did Magnuson get the tune figured out? What about your CARB concerns? Thanks for sharing!
