I have granite crystal and I love it especially with the Rubicon red accents! I don’t feel it’s too dark. My second choice would be sting-grey. Lately I’ve seen the sarge green and it looks pretty cool too.

I got the new top in 1.5 weeks way sooner than promised! Replaced it, BUT the the driver side latch loose. Not sure what’s going on with these latches . I’m going to take the latches off my old TrekTop since those were solid and tight and put them in this one. Hoping it works!!

It is, see new updated post. I honestly forgot to mention the back window issue. I had the flapping issue like others had. Bestop kept sending wrong parts until finally they sent new replacement top but I never put new one on. Lowered the price too.

The last version of the Trek top has zippers. The new Ultra is zipperless.

Hi JlHutch, I used a 4mm Allen wrench to remove latch. Bestop is sending me a new top, hopefully I get the right one!! Such a bummer since I waited so long to get it and now I have to wait 3-5 weeks for replacement :(

So I got replacement latches, it worked! BUT now the driver side is loosening, replaced the latch (they sent 2). So after troubleshooting it’s still loose, it latches but I wouldn’t trust it going 70+mph on freeway. So I’m guessing it is a top defect. I hope no one else has this issue

Follow up to issue above! Called @Bestop this morning and spoke with William 5 stars for him! Showed care and concern and will be sending out a replacement top. Unfortunately they cannot just send out the latch. Bummer though, worst case scenario I have to wait 3-5 weeks for the part.

Can you open the Sunrider portion easily while stopped at a red light? I have the original Trextop and the sun rider portion is easy to open and close while stopped. This looks like you’d have to pull over to get out and open?? Thank you! I plan on taking advantage of the deal and ordering one!

I don’t have a video, but it’s really easy. Just unhook tabs from tailgate and tailgate seal, unzip sides, fold over to place on roof and load/unload items. Not sure if this makes any sense but the point is, it’s easy . It did take a few times to get used to it, comparing to easy open of back...
