Loving all the pics, after all these years STILL one of the best hoops out there. I will post an updated photo regarding any rust. I'll send it to maximus too and see how they respond. Regardless of "fault" it should he provided in instructions if its that sensitive. Last I checked I thinK i had...

great work @jim00 - way to innovate, how are the superstruts holding up? Namely, I don't see any weight or strength ratings. galvinized should be safe from rust standpoint. I'm ponder this vs the new rhino rack rtt mount brackets. The height of the brackets are holding me back at this point.
Agreed. I don't think it was needed but I had it ordered and sitting around since I first got it ... but I did the "soft" thread locker addition to the screws last month. When I unscrewed the screws to add the locker, they were still in quite tight. Now Jeep seriously needs to pay attention to...
Yes I see it now, at first didn’t realize this was a 25 pg thread at quick glance (which Jeep should take as a strong hint …. )
someone a few pages back stated despite having the time, tools, skills, he still went with the bolsters due to convenience. I’m in the same boat.
Good point
I'm debating this HGP compared to the OEM Gorilla Glass - same or better product? Worth the price difference? I'm seeing $700 for HGP vs $1000 for Mopar
Hey @JSFoster75 and others with the HGP, I'm thinking of replacing my cracked OEM with this one. Ya'll still liking it? Does it have the cut out for the VIN like the OEM?
Thanks for posting! I never thought 33 on the 4 door looked bad. I think the effect is exaggerated ont he 2 doors. I love how clean your build is with the white and the debadging, subtle but classy
it's the standard synthetic warn brand one for the zeon 10s - you have to finesse it with your hand in keeping ti flat and hook the edge over on the bottom of the winch and your'e good. Super tight though.
One of my other vehicles that I dont' have anymore, took it in for a maintenance oil change and other service, dashcam recorded tech driving and bumping into other techs with my bumper for fun and everyone giggling and laughing. Major Ford Dealership. Dash cams keep people honest if they know it...
Just found this thread after keeping an eye on the EVO rack for a long time. JCR seems like the superior option at better price. Also, I just read page 1 on this thread at the customer service responses from @JcrOffroad and give kudos to the rep who seems like a honest hard working real person...
Kudos to @ShockerRacing for making their awesome video featuring both Topsy Hoist Hinge and this rear bar to confirm compatibility. I too will confirm compatibility with pictures to show how it looks. I made sure to torque down the bolt to spec. For those with bracket issues, there is a slight...
Not yet, seems reasonable next step, relatively inexpensive (assuming it’s the slightly longer non adjustable one) - it’s not side specific is it? (Driver / passenger)
Yeah it felt tighter for sure but still pulls and wanders on the freeway. I thought I read something about a new revision of the black steel steering box but that may just have been a rumor so. This thread has been very informative so far, just long lol
