I guess I don't understand why you need those ODB bypass wires. Doesn't the adaptor just plug into the ODBC port?

I was rereading the manual and apparently if you remove the sensors from the tires, it will shut off the system TPMS. Harsh. :)

Thanks for your reply and link to the prior messages. Going from a battery voltage adequate to start (12.3v. or so) to a voltage of 1.5 after 2 days of no usage scared me and I couldn't imagine anything doing that on a 2 year old JL. The only exception from stock in my case was the Tazer Lite...

So how about these simple questions: how much power does my Tazer Lite use while installed? Does it turn itself off if the engine is off? How can I tell it's off and not draining the battery?

Thanks, yeah, makes sense. But a no load voltage below 12 v is definitely a bad sign as well. :) Just FWIW, the dealer said FCA had shipped him a specialized complex system just for dedicated load, etc. testing of the dual battery ESS systems.

Looks like 13.2 across the combined terminals, 13.8 across just the main battery with negative cable assembly removed and then 11.7 with the main battery disconnected which should be just the AUX battery at 11.7. Is that so low it will prevent starting?
