  1. Having hard time airing up!

Instead of deleting the thread I just though of adding my findings. So I didn't mention that I have the rubicon stock wheels On the those wheels, the Valves are tucked into a nudge therefore making the latch not fully seated. So basically you need to pull it down then put the air latch on. So...
  2. Having hard time airing up!

Ok guys, I am having a hard time airing up. Basically the latch will not pushes in all the way into the valve thread. Sometime it will pop up the minute I push down the gun Never had this issue with the jk which makes me wonder is the snap in rubber valve is shorter? Ie less thread space? I...

  4. Any feedback on the super lift 2.5?

Hello I mainly use my JLUR for desert driving on the weekends, so speed is more important than flexing. I wanted to lift my jeep in 2 stages. First upgrade to super lift 2.5 with shock extensions, maintaining my current shocks which I think are good and obviously has life in them still...
  5. What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

Installed a Chinese electric stepper for 950USD. Very quiet. I am sure it is not available in the USA. I couldn't spot a brand name other than generic (wrangler) link to the video on YouTube

  9. Advice on a setup for desert driving

I had JK sport 3.73. It did well overall in 4hi. Had to use 4 lo in tricky situations. It sucked that i didn't have lockers. But i made sure to save up for the Rubicon to enjoy the lockers and the additional diff ratio. Traction is really useless in the desert, it does become sometime...
  10. Advice on a setup for desert driving

  11. Advice on a setup for desert driving

I'm glad I was able to bring back good memories. They're is something about the desert that gives you peace. The reason for the 2.5 lift is because of the high dunes we have to tackle. You can easily get stuck and sink in. In addition, crossing top of the dune at the edge need some...
  12. Advice on a setup for desert driving

Hello everyone and happy new year. I have been looking around for a good suspension setup for desert driving. It is really more about speed driving and being able to absorb big hits. On my 2DR JK i have 2.5 RK max travel paired with bilstein shocks. It preformed well in the desert and...
  13. Hard top wind noise

Hi guys I put a weather strip along the freedom panel in 2 places. An overkill for sure. So I tested it for a bit and now I'm not hearing much from the front, however, the noise is now more obvious from the doors. Before it was loud all around. So I think once the front got quieter I...
  14. Completely disabling electronic stability control questions

In desert driving, you do not want any control on wheel spin. The moment bld, TC or esc kicks in you loose all momentum and get stuck in the sand. The off road community here have been installing a separate switch to disconnect the TC fusen some the jk was first introduced.
  15. Completely disabling electronic stability control questions

In 4 hi it seems to completely shut off when I long press. I'll take a look at the fuse box and see if I can identify the right side.
  16. Completely disabling electronic stability control questions

Hello all Disabling traction and stability control is almost a must for desert driving. I understand that pressing on the traction control will disable it and if you press longer on the traction control will also disable the stability control. My observations were: 1. When driving over a...
  17. What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

For the most part it is straight forward. I followed a YouTube video. It did take few hours because I was working slow and alone. Removing the panel was the hardest part to be honest for some reason it was stuck from the right side, so I started from the left. Also if after connecting it...
  18. What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

Finally i got aux switch installed. I used the Tazer to enable the aux option. And installed my Baja scorpion sports lights that I purchased agreed ago for my jk.
