It’s supposed to be 2” but it was more like 3” mopar…. The ride feels the same other than a better view down the road. If anything there is a bit more cush from the higher volume tires. It’s not as quick off the line but I don’t drive like that anyhow. Still quicker than any of the half...
Silver Lake (sand dunes) State Park, Michigan
Our normal tow vehicle was stuck at the dealer waiting for repair parts so the JLUR was assigned towing duty for a 3000lb R-Pod....it did just fine!
I have the D load 37s KO2s on stock rubicon rims from Discount Tire. Excellent service from DT btw. I was hesitant going to the D load from C and a harsh ride on road but its not! Yay! Aired down to 15 psi in the sand provided excellent traction. I use a super chips flash paq set at 35"...
For me I also added longer control arms Mopar part 68322798AA
1/4" of additional length added the perfect amount of caster that my once wandering JL is now planted, calm and a pleasure to drive even on the freeway :handsinair:
The part number for the longer control arms for the mopar lift is
68322798AA
Yes I put the front and rear 1/2" spacers in, glad I did while swapping the springs anyhow.

The 1st picture is Kermit only a week old and stuck off road....those stock highway tires sure do ride smooth but do nothing for traction :-) The middle picture is Kermit who is a Sport at 6 months old with a new steel bumper after hitting a deer, a trek top for summer fun and aftermarket...
WTB: Mojito painted fender flares (Michigan) Willing to drive a resonable distance for the pick up of someone's take-off flares. May be interested in high line rubicon flares also that I could have painted. TIA
Due to all the knowledge shared here I went ahead and picked up a Rubicon 4dr hardtop suspension + Mopar lift LCAs + terraflex .5" spacers and put them on my 2 door sport hardtop (summer softop) and gained about 2" I do feel like the steering is better with the longer LCAs, it seems to track...
Just put a trektop nx diamond on my JL 2 door. It was a tedious job, seems like the one I put on my JK when they came out for that was easier. For the choices available...I'm happy with it over spending a grand more on the Mopar top. I like the sewn in pockets over the front seats! I like...
Fun day was had on Silver Lake Sand Dunes on Lake Michigan. I have a hand me down like new Rubicon suspension to put on as well as I have ordered the Mopar lift LCAs and TerraFlex .5" spacers to give Kermit a little lift. I only rubbed the rear fender once but I am carrying 200+ lbs of dogs in...
