  1. Press clutch to start in automatic

Thanks, I'll ask the dealer to address it when I take it in for the steering stabilizer recall
  2. Getting a message to "press clutch" and start button on a 2018 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited JL with automatic transmission

Thanks, good to know. I still have the steering stabilizer recall to get it in for. I'll mention it then.
  3. Getting a message to "press clutch" and start button on a 2018 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited JL with automatic transmission

I'm getting a message to "press clutch" and start button to start, on my 2018 JLU Sahara, and it's has an automatic transmission. I can still just press the brake and hit the start / stop button to start it and it starts up, but when this happens (intermittent) I don't see my odometer miles in...
  4. Trailer hitch wiring options

I did the Mopar Wiring harness as well. I didn't have a tester or a trailer to hook up to to test if it was working afterwards. I was very careful to follow the instructions. I just bought a tester in preparation for getting a cargo trailer. I'm getting nothing. I noticed on the Tazer JL...
  5. Trailer Hitch Wiring Install

Right after I purchased my 2018 JLU Sahara, I bought a Hitch and the Mopar Wiring Harness from Quadratec. The Mopar harness was not cheap at $264.99. I followed the instructions meticulously. I didn't have a trailer to connect it to or a trailer wiring harness tester so I wasn't able to test...
  6. So it is Finally Here: Mopar Gorilla Glass Windshield replacement for JL JLU!

I've had mine replaced once. My insurance had an OEM windshield installed at my house for the $50 Glass claim deductible. Pretty painless, and since I'm working from home now, I'm not driving my Jeep many miles so I will probably have this windshield a while before it breaks the next time.
  7. Early buyers - Is your JL 3 years old yet?

I got my 2018 Sahara in Sept of 2018. It has 21K miles and is still going strong. Love it.
  8. Has anybody ever regretted buying a Wrangler?

I've never regretted getting my Wrangler. Love, love, love it! The only regret I do have is that I didn't research the difference between the models better. In hindsight, I wish I had gone for the Rubicon over the Sahara. Don't get me wrong, I love my Sahara, but getting locking...
  9. Rear window rattling

Just an update. I've been away from any forums for a while. The replaced back window from the dealer was a fiasco with the part never arriving when they ordered it. I chocked that up to my order being snagged from within the supply chain for FCA, as they would tell me it had arrived in a...
  10. Driving on the beach - lower tire air pressure?

I'm in WA state and we drive on the beach occasionally. Unless the conditions on Long Island beaches are all uniform (unlikely), I don't think you can make a generalization that you don't need to air down (or that you do for that matter). Airing down, if you don't go too low (less than 20psi)...
  11. Rear window rattling

About a month after getting Jeep Customer Care involved, I was able to get the dealer to get the new rear window procured and after they installed about 10 days ago. I can report it did fix the problem, and only took them 7 months.
  12. Rear window rattling

Just an update. The dealer called me and said they had the part in and scheduled the install in mid February (about 10 days out from when they called me). Then the day before the scheduled appointment, the service writer called me and said it was the wrong part, so I would have to wait until...
  13. Good dealers for Service in Seattle Area?

I've been going to Autonation in Bellevue for years for my wife's 2012 JKUS and my 2011 Dodge Charger R/T. I traded the Charger in on a new 2018 Wrangler JLUS. I've been in twice with it, and they have not been able to fix the rattle / creak near the rear hatch. They have ordered a new rear...
  14. Rear window rattling

Thanks for the reply and the suggestion to use bulb grease. It's not a metal to metal noise. I'm going to inspect the back window and rear hatch this morning and see if I can see any damage to the gasket. If it's still servicable, I'll pick up some bulb grease and give that a try. The...
  15. Rear window rattling

I started having this with my 2018 JLU Sahara shortly after I bought i in September. For me, it was a rattle / creak. At first I thought it was something I had rattling around in the cargo area. After eliminating anything like that, I complained about it when I got my first oil change in...
