Hey Guys, I posted what my local dealership did to my Jeep when I was having “Service Shifter” issues on January 16th. So far no issues to report and I think it’s safe to say it’s gone. Maybe you can show the picture to your local dealer and get it fixed.

This is what the dealer did for my Jeep. So far I haven’t had any issues. Hopefully this could help others.

How is everyone’s Rough Country reinforcement kit doing so far? I purchased one but haven’t installed it yet. I was thinking about how this would really help. I don’t see how this would help the weight on the tailgate.

Thanks for posting this! I’ve been looking everywhere for X/T’s installed on a Wrangler. I’m getting mine installed on Saturday. Trading out my M/T2’s for the X/T because I didn’t like the way MT2 handled on the road when it’s wet. I’m more on road than off road. I’ll post pics when I have them.

Did you take your Jeep to the dealer? Is there a fix for this?

Have you seen anyone with a fix for this? This is crazy!! Mine is at the dealer right now since Thursday. I’m hoping to hear something good tomorrow. I was on the highway going 70mph, rainy weather and the service shifter message came up and I lost power steering. Luckily, I was able to pull over.

Mine is saying “Service shifter” and the power steering locked up on me while I was parking in my driveway. I hope there’s a fix for this. It intermittently comes on and disappeared on its own for a week. I just recently upgraded my wheels and tires and I hope the dealer doesn’t come up with...

Picked up my turbo Jeep a couple days ago. I love it! But I haven’t seen it average 22-24 mpg like everyone else has posted. I’m averaging 17 mpg and I’m not driving hard. I have 235 miles so far.
