  1. 2021 JLU Already Towed to Dealer at 114 miles on the odo. Owned less than 2 hours... WTH

I have an 88 Dodge Ramcharger. It’s 33 years old, squeaks and leaks, but NEVER left me stranded... unlike my 2018 Sahara.
  2. Worst experience with a brand new car! NY dealership Eastchester CJDR is a joke!

My name is Adam and my Jeep is a piece of shit....:) although my dealer was incredibly slow (eleven straight weeks) they treated me well. My sister in law also had a Jeep buyback due to electrical issues. Anyway, I think these problems are indicative of a serious decline in quality. Jeep...
  3. Fell in the love then had slight heart break

Or a giant bag of fiber gummies from Costco...
  4. ESS battery, again..

My 2018 Sahara, had both batteries replaced about a year ago. It spent eleven straight weeks in the shop after the 8 speed auto trans ate itself. While at the dealer both batteries died and they replaced them, but the new ESS battery would not charge so the dealer spent much time and effort to...
  5. BUYERS BEWARE...3.0 Diesel...JeepDOESNTCare

WRONG. I’m in the lemon law process for my pos 2018 Sahara. My lawyer took it on a contingency, ie: I pay nothing if I don’t win. FCA will be ordered to pay attorney fees. Also, non-disclosure agreements are used in civil suits from divorces to class action... This is pretty standard fare...
  6. Ordering my first Jeep. Any advise?

Yes, get the extended warranty for sure. If you use it just once (very likely IMO) it will pay for itself. Take a while to look at the issues/ repair/ warranty/ recall forum; it’s an eye opener. Plus you will learn some quirks like most of the windshield defroster vents do not work. Drive...
  7. 2020 Jeep Wrangler Valve Body defect

Update us on how it drives/shifts. My new trans is jerky and shifts into second almost immediately...like 4 mph. Must be the mall crawler shift package.
  8. 2020 Jeep Wrangler Valve Body defect

My 2018 Sahara needed the whole trans replaced. Eleven weeks at the dealer! There are many threads about this right from the beginning of the new model (JL) too bad Jeep hasn’t bothered to fix this in the past THREE years..
  9. Steering lock up problems

JEEP, you need to fix this before NHTSA and the lawyers force you to. Yes, it’s expensive, but what about the lawsuits, fines, and damage to the Jeep brand (think Pinto) lost sales, etc. there are so many posts about this specific problem that you must be aware, in fact you ARE aware because...
  10. Steering locked up when going around a curve

I will also STEER clear of Jeep from now on... I’m in the lemon law process already, but before that I was going to get a Jeep for my son, instead I got him a Subaru. Btw, it already has more trouble free miles than my Jeep.
  11. Is the JL the worst Jeep ever?

At about 13 k miles, my 8 speed auto trans ate itself, metal shavings in the pan. They installed a new trans but the shift points suck. Also both batteries went out while it was in their custody. They replaced them and that didn’t fix it, they replaced the ESS harness and that didn’t fix it...
  12. Is the JL the worst Jeep ever?

I agree, mine is a lemon. Eleven weeks at the dealer!
  13. How much????? Insanity

Not quite.. you will never break even. Remember, the life of the battery is optimistically eight to ten years, then it will needs a few thousand in parts & labor.
