I have a very bad back and I found it impossible to lift and mount 33 inch tires onto JLU by myself. I can mount car tires. I am wondering whether anyone has a DIY method that would make this process easy.
I side swiped a deer. Listen carefully at the 15th second, there is a low “thump” sound. My MOAB has steel bumper and my JL didn’t show any damage. But my JL has the full suite of safety features and it didn’t produce any alerts or try to brake. Should it? How do these safety features work?
Mine seems to heat up to quite hot after I would say 10 minutes them it will cool down to just Luke warm and stay there. I want it to be hot all the time. Also, on warmer days, it doesn't feel like it ever gets hot. I am wondering whether their is an algorithm behind all this accounting for...
It looks great. How do you like it? One of my concern is that it sticks out too far past the bumper that my wife would walk into it. What do you think? Is the light bright enough? Thx.
Never had an issue. The auto braking came on once when I was too close to a car that was already halfway turning into it driveway. I knew I am safe not stepping on the brake but the car thought otherwise. Now I know my JL's auto braking system is working!
I notice the better ride quality but not the acceleration as I didn't accelerate hard at all. Also I notice very little in fuel consumption after switching the tires. For me the most fuel savings came from the rise in temperature. Also, I believe KO2 is heavier than KM2.
Not a DD. Almost 6 month of ownership and about 1650 miles on it. Had KM2 for the first 500 miles and then KO2 the rest. Computer not updated to reflect slightly larger tires (33 vs 32 inch). 80% of miles in rural roads between 30 and 45mph and the rest on highway between 65 and 70 mph. I drive...
I see it the other way. Air travel is the safest ever today, And technologies play a big part in it. ASP will help us, not just us the drivers but the other parties that we end up not hitting. I don't believe anyone would think because my JL has ASP, I can text and drive at the same time or...
I love this setup. Very discrete yet powerful lights. How did you route the wire through the car from the engine compartment? Did you have to drill any holes or the existing bolts for the reflectors are adequate. Due to the shape of the reflector, I assume a part of the light is blocked, am I...
