I appreciate the detailed reply. I just called Jeep and they said once the Jeep is off and in neutral only friction braking is in play. I ordered the complete NSA tow bar with surge brake and well as the same Maximus loops as you. Hopefully it all works ok
thanks. I saw that but seems like a pain to have to unhook it if used a lot. I read that using a rubber band on the shifter release might work as well. I’m sure someone will come up with a solution.
Thanks! Mine had around a 3" dead spot where moving the steering wheel did not move the wheels at all! I figure all the 4xes are coming with the latest steering gear, but was hoping for some real world experiences.
Has anyone had issues with the steering being loose or wandering like the initial JLs? I had a 2019 that I got rid of due to the terrible steering that Jeep could not fix.
