I am curious does anyone know why these shocks would cause the ride to be so bad? With other lifts, these shocks seem to work great.

The main reason was I was looking for something other than what RK sells. I think I will want something with adjustable settings. Looks like King or Fox might be the way to go. To be honest, I wasn't trying to not listen to the recommendation of RK, it was more that I already had the shocks...

I thought about this as well. Mostly because of the offroad pages, as we do not get that with the 7" screen. Although it could be possible it might be hard to find a dealer willing to flash it to your VIN. I could be totally wrong, however.

So do I. I believe it is getting worse over time as well.

I wonder how many Jeeps are having this issue? I would like to know if Jeep is working on a fix. I don't want to see future issues with internal engine damage due to this issue now. My Jeep does sound worse when it's a hot day as well. This sound can't be normal or caused by incorrectly...

My dealer reported it was the front axle that was at fault. Sorry, I'm not sure how they could tell what axle was the issue.

Curious if the higher octane fuel has fixed this for you? I believe I have a similar noise in mine.

I heard back from my dealer today and they have a "preliminary" estimate of Sept 26th for part delivery. The failure happened on Aug 4th for me and I refuse to drive the vehicle as I also have grinding noises from my front axle in 2H. My dealer has put my vehicle in as non-driveable, however...

Come to think of it, this actually happened after my update as well. This is still not repaired on my end. Both Jeep and my dealer are unable to provide any type of ETA on a replacement part. My dealer is stating the part needing to be replaced is 68430081-AA Actuator 21-101-016.

From what I have heard from my local dealer, this is a common issue with the Rubicon. I myself had the exact same problem. Currently waiting for a replacement actuator. Possible faulty part from the factory.

I have the exact same problem. It looks like this is related to a failure in the locker actuator. The problem is this part is heavily back ordered. In my area alone there is 33 parts on order. I suspect Jeep is well aware this is a faulty part as no one is willing to give a ETA on delivery...
