I wager a big part of this are the insane lease deals of the 4xe basically since it released. I need a Gladiator for my needs more than a Wrangler, but even now it's a hard pill to swallow that if I just get a 4xe instead I could literally save 150-200/month for the same MSRP
But are the '19 steering issues fixed? At this point I'd rather have a JK because it seems like this issue has no fix in sight. I'm kicking myself for not getting one I should've known better.
How do you guys initiate a buyback process? Hire a lawyer? I've been in the shop 4 times now. 3 for steering and it still is not fixed and no fix in sight. It's getting extremely old at this point. I should've just bought a JK and been issue free from day 1.
Keep in mind my dealer told me even the stabilizer they use to replace these are bad. They have had multiple customers have their stabilizer replaced 3 times before Jeep has put on a Fox brand stabilizer.
I'm on my first replacement with an appointment for the second, and that's not even...
I couldn't seem to find anything, but wanted to double check with you guys. Is there any official word from Jeep on a max speed for using the Sunrider position of the soft top? Last summer I used to go 70-75mph on the highway before I started seeing rumors the max was 55.
Is this true?
Funny part is, I went to the Jeep Dealer I bought mine from just out of curiosity. 4 out of 5 soft tops I looked at had the same exact issue sitting on the lot.
The only ones that didn't were the premium tops. Almost all the regular vinyl tops hit with the window the tail gate. Some even had...
I just now noticed this by happenstance when I was cleaning out my trunk. The back tailgate hits the corner of the back window and has destroyed it. I have tried everything I can think of and it's how the back window sits when you snap it in. You can't shift it over anymore than where it's at...
Are either of these options able to be done on a sport now? I have seen all the options for a 7 in. bracket and don't want that. I'd rather have OEM LED lights or lights that actually fit the JL.
I have had the same issue. I haven't looked into it extensively like you have, but I definitely have a problem with the gas pump clicking repeatedly and stopping over and over at all ranges of gas left.
It is super frustrating.
I contacted Jeep Cares in the beginning, who then had them do the TCM flash which didn't work. I waited a few months and went back on my own hoping Jeep finally had a recall/fix out and the tech told me the stabilizer had a recall and it should fix my issues.
I guess I can contact JC again...
The dealer is saying Jeep has a recall out to replace my stabilizer for all of my steering issues.
Has this been the case for those of you who had their stabilizer replaced? I am worried this will fix the death wobble, but not the loose steering and/or wandering issues.
Awesome I assume you purchased this mount, right?

My only concern is whether or note a note9 will fit inside of it.
Anyone else have a larger phone like me? Which mounts did you purchase/where did you place them?
I'm having a hard time figuring out where to put a holder because of how small the dash/window is. Best I can think of is if someone made something that can attach to the handle on the passenger...
The PCM flash didn't work for me. I haven't gone back because I am waiting for Jeep to come out with an actual fix instead of arguing with a dealer and going back and forth dropping my Jeep off.
From what I saw a user posted adjusting the steering box and caster was the fix for them, but you...
I just tried to order the filler parts with part number provided above from mymoparparts and got an email saying they cancelled my order as that parts don't fit my jeep. What gives?
I was trying to search for these, but I am having a hard time finding some. I also read that Sport grilles are different than Sahara/Rubicon, so if I purchase some they won't be snap-ins? Is that right?
Any help is appreciated.
Exactly this. It doesn't even make any sense. Why would over-inflated tires cause it to wander? How come my over-inflated tires on my 2017 civic or 16 silverado did basically nothing except ride a little rough? But in a JL all the sudden it causes loose steering and wandering? My buddies JK...
