Hey thanks for the info on this. I was wondering if the problem is still fixed? It's started to happen on my 2018 JLU. I have about 2 inches of water on passenger side!
Can you please tell me where the mucket seal is? I can't find it in Google.
Hey there, great breakdown on how to install. Thanks! Question, I know other brands, they require using a torque wrench. This does not? I plan on towing a camper trailer. I have 0 experience with towing. I assume Ill need a wiring harness as well?
Sonofa!!!! Hey man, I'm sure you can find out who the plow guy was. If it's city/town property, contact sanitation. If it's private property, contact the landlord. Some of these plow guys have routes and they use their own private truck.
Thank you for this information!
So Im just confused on something. If I want 33" tires, I would search for 285's?
Im confused because 285 represents millimeters, but that doesnt convert to 33 inches. Instead it converts to 11.22.
What am I looking at wrong?
Dude, that looks amazing. I wanna go that route. It's aggressive, but not show boaty.
Aside from the lift, rims and tires, did u have to do anything else? Spacers, brakes, etc? About how much did it set u back?
Well done!
Hey all, new JLU Sport owner here. Been doing a lot of research on the idea of doing a lift and bigger tires from my stock set. Setting a lot of pros and cons.
As for my situation, looks is my primary reason, and offroading is desired, but secondary (current life doesn't give me too much...
Yep. I understand how it works. Never said it was faster. I preferred to say you can adjust the aggressiveness in the acceleration. Response time is sharper and gives you more jump at the touch of the pedal.
As I mentioned, improvement in acceleration.
Ok so to follow up, I installed it, and there was definitely an improvement in the acceleration. It's got different settings so you can adjust how aggressive you want it. Also has an auto mode which adjusts the aggressiveness based on how hard you press the pedal.
I definitely recommend it, but...
Ok I definitely will do. I hope there's a money back guarantee because it's expensive! Ive read that it's a 200% markup from China manufacturing. Kind of a rough blow to ensure since so many Jeep owners are made in USA proud.
From my experience so far, the sales rep I was communicating with was...
Oh no kidding? Did you get an Idrive? Mine comes in tomorrow. I can let you know how it works out. I have an 8 speed automatic JLU Sport. But Idrive says their product if good for both manual or automatic.
Hey all,
I just purchased an Idrive throttle controller for my 2018 JLU Sport. Anyone have one? I'm curious of your thoughts.
There aren't many reviews online, but the ones that are there, really like it.
