The red tow hooks are a Rubicon thing. Easiest way if you really want is just to Plastidip them rather than replace. That way when you want to go back to your Moab black, you just peel it off.
As in you were getting some rubbing? Debating going that route because so many have indicated they put the 35s on with no rub, but I really don't want to have to add anything else beyond the tires.
The decal on the black and the ocean blue (at least) is actually a dark metallic gray in the center with black outer border. Otherwise you'd never see it.
Thanks for posting this. The KMs on my 2015 Rubicon had a good 6-9K left on them, so I had dealer swap them with the new KM2s for extra credit on my trade. Definitely planning to go with KO2s when these run down, but now highly considering 35s instead of 33s as planned. Sounds like you never...
Because theyāre the only ones Iāve found who will waive it. An extra $900 off is an extra $900 off any way you slice it. I had one other dealer offer a marginally better base price, but once they added the FL fee it ended up a good bit higher.
Adding a recommendation for Douglas Jeep in Venice, FL (South of Tampa). Ordered my '15 Rubicon and now my '19 Moab through them. Both times they came in thousands lower than other area dealers. Fortunately they're only 20 min from my house. I used Tread Lightly affiliate both times and they...
Headrest keeps the seat from going back all the way. Leaves it sort of suspended. May just be my seat. I had to tip the JK headrest back to get it in. Got a few suggested models from another thread. Just annoying that Iāll gave to buy a new carseat.
Otherwise absolutely love it...especially the...
Older thread, but having just taken delivery I can confirm that there is active braking and also that you can turn it off. If you go into settings itāll give you option of forward Collision Warning (beep only) or with active braking. Can also adjust sensitivity (much like ACC). Havenāt actually...
Argh! Moab hit Tampa on train Monday and made it to dealer already last night apparently. Unfortunately, I don't think I'm going to be able to pick it up until next Tuesday! A whole week of knowing it's just sitting there on the dealer's lot waiting may be worse than when it was just nebulously...
The question is did I get lucky on parts with a build the same day, or did you get lucky that they caught the quality issue and maybe missed it on mine? Also interesting that my dealer indicated mine was arriving on train today, but I still don't see it coming up as even "in-transit" on Jeep or...
Mineās supposedly hitting Tampa on train Monday. Hopefully make it to dealer by end of week. My SmartStopStart arrived today and I swung by dealer to negotiate trade for my ā15 Rubicon and tire swap. Itās gonna be a long last week or so.
The Doc fees vary greatly based on state to state regulations, but tend to be consistent within the state. Ours are $899 in FL. Fortunately my dealer waived mine as part of my Affiliate Discount (Tread lightly), but it sounds like that is not the norm and thereās usually not much negotiating on...
