2018 JL with 32,000 miles and nothing but problems. Besides the minor issues, ESS battery replacement, 8.4 Unconnect shutting on an off intermittingly and screen delaminating causing large bubbles, steering issues and the everyday recall issues here is the break down.
25,000 miles driving home...
Picked mine up April 2018 have 30K miles and some minor issues but still happy with it.
Replaced battery for ESS
Ignition coil went out
Minor wobble, upgraded track bar eliminated the issue.
Uconnect system flashed, still having issues with it turning on and off.
8.4" screen delaminating have...
So i have a Sahara with a 2.5" spacer lift running 35's and was thinking about swaping the stock suspension with the Rubi take offs would that give me another inch?
Not a bad price I paid $700 for both front and rear steel bumpers with LED's and skid plate. Definitely worth it as i prefer the look to an aftermarket bumper.
Not a waste, noticed a big difference after I installed my Rancho track bar. Goes down the road nice and straight no more loose steering or vibrations.
I have the 2.5" Rough Country spacer lift and its great for the money, no changes to factory ride and easily clear 35's. But...i am already looking to go taller and upgrade to a full suspension.
Looking to pick up a Harley 883 and was going use a hitch carrier but seeing a lot of mixed reviews about the tounge weight capacity. What is the most weight anyone has carried? Bike itself is about 500lbs.
35's on a 2.5" Rough County Spacer Lift. Very capable off road and limited rub. I have been contemplating a full 3.5" suspension lift but have been able to go anywhere and do everything that everyone else does so will probably use the $2500 for other upgrades
Thay was an option but would want the color matching fenders and the price i have been seeing for take offs i could buy a full suspension kit that would probably give the true 2-1/2 to 3" lift.
I have a Sahara with a 2-1/2 spacer lift and 35's. I have added rubi steel bumpers, rugged ridge rock sliders, and a Diabilocal Slip Stream and notice I sit about an 1-1/2 lower than other Sahara's with the same lift minus the add ons. I do take it off road but bothing to crazy and get moderate...
I installed the Rancho track bar about a month ago and it was a night and day difference. I had major vibration coming through the steering wheel took it to the dealer and they blamed it on the 2.5" spacer lift, typical dealer blaming it on an aftermarket part!
Same issue here, was getting a lot of vibration in the steering and popping noise when backing out of my drive way. Took it in to get it aligned as it was pulling to the right and they showed the play in the drag link. Took it straight to the dealer and they are blaming it on my 2.5" spacer lift...
