Thanks. Not sure I like it in the wheel well. Too much exposure to water, dirt, grime, and road muck.
Also the cheapo tenders only do 14.4v, ess batteries need 14.7 to properly charge as far as I know.
I have a optimate 5 (5amp) that will do 14.7 and pulse charge. Pricy but I use the 4 (1amp)...
Oh, insiders call that "ripping"... I think the rest of us just call it ripping people off.
Trade in value has conditions for a reason, to not honor those conditions is missing the whole point. I won't take "fair" value for a vehicle in good to excellent condition, no one should. The last time...
It's mostly about the timing.
No dealership (that I've found) will honor the trade in value they quote for more than a few days, let alone several months. So if I order today they might have a different tune 2 to 3 months from now.
The tax differential is insignificant compared to the...
Article is skewed. The leaf came (still comes?) with $7,500-$10,000 in tax breaks. Second hand consumers know this which alone depreciates the car 20-30% on day 1. And depreciation depends on more than just model, the options the specific vehicle has can affect it too.
Not sure the cash offers will work for me as I have an extended warranty that I think can only be transferred once at the time of sale.
How difficult was Facebook? Get a good price?
I'm thinking about ordering a new vehicle. Trade in value here in CO is a joke, thousands under what KBB and NADA estimate the value to be. One dealer compared my fully loaded Rubicon to one without a single option and based trade in off of that.
It's going to take months to get a new car these...
I don't think I was lied to, but there is clearly a lack of communication between dealers, UConnect, and customers.
I received an email from UConnect on 09.09.2021 informing me that the dealer had to re-order the radio because they "had difficulty tracking it". on 09.13.2021 I called the dealer...
Oh, I was also told by the UConnect rep working my case that turnaround times are 10 days or there abouts. So my order was potentially lost for 2,5 months before I found out.
If you're waiting more than 2 weeks there maybe something up.
From what I've been told that is done by "the vendor" before they send out the refurbished unit. Both times now I've had to provide my Sirius ID and account number to the dealer before they were able to submit the replacement.
Jeep "lost" my order. They have no record of it, no status, it's just gone. So now the dealer has to order another one which they won't be able to track, won't be able to provide a status on, and may or may not ever show up.
This has gone from mildly irritating to full on unacceptable. I can't...
Everything that makes the Rubicon good off-road makes it bad on-road in snow/ice. Tires are too wide, CoG too high, too light in the rear, short wheelbase, wide stance.
The best car in the snow will be, well, a car - not an SUV, with a low CoG, skinny tires, and AWD with a decent traction...
